not interested in all these cock and bull stories as that I how osun workers were brainwashed that it was Jonathan that was withholding osun's allocation hence why there were no salaries until now that it is they know that rauf's mismanagement is the real issue..
Let me just watch and see investment flow into Imo now that the center and Imo supposedly on the same page
Imo and Osun are not the same. Amaechi equaly suffered even more than Okorocha at Jonathans hand. There was an open gang up against Amaechi and Okorocha by both ignorant masses and political thieves of Igbo descent.

Fool, stop showing us a cheap brothel. Show us where average people live in ur useless filthy owere.

Below is where people live in owerre in their Ikwerre-type homes. cheesy

Abagworo:
This hotel though only a 9 storey building is ok. If we can build all those 4 storey buildings like this our cities would have looked better.

If I claim there are no Igbotic houses in Owerri then I am the biggest liar. I am only suggesting we review our architecture henceforth. This one is a 4 storey building.

Heliconia Estate Port-Harcourt. Something like this is not bad. Hero's apartment in Owerri is equally ok.

This is exactly what I was complaining. Very disgusting site. Looks like a South American slum. Compare it with that estate in Port Harcourt and you will understand why sane minds find it difficult to live in Onitsha.

Fool, show us your own in Owere. PH is a very big slum. Do you wanna see pictures? cheesy

I have showed you where average people are living in Onitsha, can we compare it to PH and useless Owerre?

Onitsha is a mega city and represent to the SE what PH and Lagos represent to the SS and SW respectively. Onitsha has more banks and corporate organizations thrice more than entire imo state. Every Igbo family has somebody living in Onitsha unlike ur unlivable Owerre where u can hardly find other Igbos from other states. Onitsha hosts at least 1/3rd of Imo state population and it is the most cosmopolitan city east of the niger. Onitsha has different hoods for low class, middle and upper class just like any other major city. See below (picture 2) twin-duplex where your brother Orange Drugs stays in Onitsha GRA, this is just one out of millions of them. You can go and confirm cheesy

You can find over 1m Imolites resident in Onitsha but u cannot see a single Anambran in the entire Imo state, what does that mean to u?

Owerre is not livable because of the menace of prostitution and poor infrastructure coupled with Ikwere type houses that filled the whole town. I have not seen any reasonable or mentally okay - person raising a family in owerre.

You are just fooling yourself, I am a regular visitor to PH, apart from new and old GRA and D-line, every other place in PH is rural filled with shanties just like Owerre. Do you want more pictures? cheesy

Your only frustration is that Anambra and some other parts of SE has decent accommodation for low income as well as high income earners ahead of PH and your useless Owerre. cheesy

Typical Igbotic buildings clustered like South American slum. Look to your left on the 2nd picture and see something decent. Government needs to give designs for both structure and roofing to stop this kind of nasty housing.
I am shocked at Abagworo.Apart from the Ikwerre apartments, It is clear he isn't Igbo and in fact a bitter Igbo hater trying to claim he is from Imo state.
I'm perplexed that he finds time to talk thrash about Enugu apartments but ignore the deplorable apartmets in Nigeria's second largest city?
That man is truly mad.

The only decent place to live in S/East is Enugu. Other places are pathetic, dirty and horrible. And no reasonable person should compare Onitsha to PH. Nigeria has just 3 cities: Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Owerri will never change because Rochas knows nothing about administration and leadership. History teaches us that Nigerian lawyers make good leaders. Eg, Babatunde Fashola, Sam Mbakwe, Godswill Akpabio and Sullivan Chime. Maybe we should start voting for ONLY lawyers.

Okorocha Inaugurates Imo Assembly. As Speakership Tussle Tears Members Apart APC Divided On Ranking Status
Posted by admin on Jun 11th, 2015
By Okey Alozie

The dycotomny between the ranking members and new comers in the Imo house of Assembly is said to have been generating ripples over the weeks now.
Our source gathered that things have began to fall apart ahead of the inauguration taking place today, as the Assembly kicks off today. The rift between the old and new members is said to be deepening which according to political Analysts will bring unhealthy situation.
While the few surviving members of the old House want Acho Ihim to be Speaker, others (new comers) disagree. Moreover this disagreement between the two groups, coupled with internal campaign on the Speakership, provoked Governor Rochas Okorocha.
Last Sunday the Governor was said to have raised eye brows on the matter as he blasted those suspected to be at the center of the whole issue.
The Governor as we learnt will surely spring up surprises in his usual manner and unveil his candidate outside those fighting for the position. We learnt that the Speaker of the House must surely emerge today.
The inauguration of the new house will take place at main Assembly complex located along Iwuanyawu Avenue, the renovated Assembly complex as we learnt will be declared open before the inauguration.
The uncertainty which has trailed the election of principal officers of the yet to be inaugurated Imo State House of Assembly has taken a dramatic turn following the wide division between the old and new legislators.
Investigations by this newspaper revealed that the continued postponement of the inauguration of the House by Governor Okorocha is sequel to uncertainty and betrayal of trust among the APC members over the choice of principal officers.
Apart from nocturnal meetings within the APC family in the state, Trumpeta also learnt that Governor Okorocha has lampooned the Honourable members-elect on the manner they are going about the positions especially that of the speakership .
The Governor allegedly lashed at the members for forming alliances in a matter that should have ordinarily be resolved by the party leadership, leading to heating up the polity and creating sharp division among the elected members.
He threatened to continue postponing their inauguration pending when there is orderliness and confidence among the members.
Trumpeta newspapers gathered that the PDP members are cashing on the crisis to pull a string by trying to repeat what happened at the National Assembly where the PDP held unto both the Senate, Deputy Senate Presidents as well as the Minority positions. As at the time of going to press, the PDP members-elect we gathered have successfully woed few APC members on their side for the Speakership which is anticipated to be contested

what is happening to my dear state? How did we get ourselves into this mess in the first place? How did we allow a scam artist take over our state? What did Imo state do wrong to deserve this disaster? We get the kind of rulership we want. At last Ihedioha is vindicated.

Enugu is a decent and livable city as far as I know because I like Independence layout and the kind of houses there as well as GRA and Trans-Ekulu. Those places alone is larger in landmass than Onitsha and decent for a sane mind to live. I cant live at Chime Avenue, Ogui road, Abakpa, Coal Camp, Emene, Awkunanaw/Achara layout and other places like them. When I visit Owerri I stay at New Owerri which is equally very decent and livable. I cant live at World bank, Umuguma, Douglas, Amakohia, Orji and others like them. Onitsha is 99% unlivable. Only the tiny GRA/33 is manageable.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by chinolization:
Fool..e dey pain you that Owerre is a big slum filled with Shanties and Ikwerre-type house. I can't even imagine myself or any other sane person living in Owerre or any part of Imo state.

Owerre is a town filled to the brim with prostitutes. There is every chances that kids raised in Owerre will turn to prostitution. There is no decent economic activity in Owerre that will warrant a genuine resident to relocate to the place. There is little or no infrastructure in the whole of the state.

Onitsha is a mega city compare to a backward prostitution infested Owerre. Onitsha is by far more decent than Owerre in all ramifications. Areas like 3-3, Trans-Nkisi, GRA, American Qtrs, Federal housing, Fegge Housing and parts of other Fegge beats everything Owerre has to offer.

Greater part of Owerre is at least 99.999% very unlivable, because I am yet to see any sane or sound mind or decent family residing or raising a family in Owerre or Imo state at large.

Onitsha a city that hosts greater population of Imolites, at least 1/3rd of Imolites are resident in the city whereas you cannot see any Anambran resident in any part of imo state. That is how to know a city or state that is livable.

Please do not ever compare Akpabio or Uyo with Owerri. It is still a slum village with some good major roads. Enugu and Owerri are decent but Enugu enjoyed 8 years of focus while Owerri has enjoyed only 2yeara because the Governor Okorocha equally developed the rural areas and other cities. After his 2nd term Owerri and indeed Imo will be much better as he will no longer be under attack from FG as was the case in his 1st term. Owerri is one of the most beautiful cities in Nigeria with amazing greenery and organised modern buildings. When I write Owerri, I mean Owerri and not other towns nearby.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by chinolization: 11:23am On Jun 16, 2015
Shut up. Uyo beats Owerre thrice in all ramification. Decent people rather relocate to Uyo than going to Owerre. I am yet to see anybody relocating to Owerre. Owerre is not livable by all standards and that is why you hardly find other Igbos in Owerre. Forget all the internet hype you are doing here, Owerre is a very big slum with dirty streets and bad roads with Ikwerre type houses littered all over the place. I can come up with more pictures. cool

Ihedioha in Onitsha to meet millions of Imolites that are living in the city to seek for their votes..cheesy cheesy

BEVERLY HILLS, March 01, (THEWILL) – Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Gubernatorial candidate in Imo State, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has alleged that the state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, misappropriated N175 billion fund belonging to the local governments in the state and as such Imo people have rejected him for a second term in office.

Speaking to Imo indigenes in Onitsha, Anambra State, Ihedioha pointed out that investigation discovered that the outgoing governor of Imo State had allegedly collected from the Federation Account over N175 billion council funds from May 2011 to December 2014 which the APC administration cannot account for.

He said there has not been any clear explanation from the state government as to how the funds were expended, adding that the governor has a case to answer over the misappropriated funds.

“We have asked them what they used the money to do, they told us that they have used the money of the local government system collected between May 2011 and December 2014 to build 305 schools in Imo State, they told us that they used the money to build 27 hospitals in Imo State. We know that these projects have not been completed.

“We asked them how much did they use to build each of them. They also said that they used the proceeds from Ada Palm about N4billion as concessioned to Roche to build the 305 primary schools and the same 27 hospitals. They also told us that they used part of the N18.5 billion bond they collected from Ikedi Ohakim's administration to also build the same primary schools and hospitals,” Ihedioha said.

According to the governorship hopeful, “to utilise funds belonging to local governments to other purposes other than the development of the council areas is breach of the constitution and breach of the will of the people and that offence is punishable. The way to punish that offence is to vote that government of Rochas out.”

He however assured that when by the Grace of God he becomes the governor of the state he would govern the state by the rule of law, adding that Imo government would be a government of collectivity.

The deputy speaker assured the mammoth crowd: “When you elect me governor, your labour will never be in vain and I know how to say thank you because I am a grateful man, I shall always show gratitude and the way to show gratitude is to give you good governance which you shall not regret.”

While acknowledging the support given to him outside the state, he promised also to rule the state with the fear of God by the strength that would be given to him by Imo people through their votes.

Ihedioha, who also visited the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka, and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, promised to restore the dignity of Imo man, give education the pride of place, to restore the dignity of labour, to enter into partnership with the youths, to provide enabling environment for industries, to restore the 10,000 jobs disbanded by Okorocha, to restore the sanctity of local government administration and development centres in the state.

Also speaking, former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, while calling on the people to vote for Ihedioha and President Goodluck Jonathan, accused Governor Okorocha of huge debt burden, lamenting that Imo State “is now indebted to the tune of N30billion.”

He also expressed regret over the fallen standard of education in Imo State, adding that the state, which used to be the pride of South East in the time past, is today at the bottom of ladder in examinations .

The Minister of State for Education, Prof. Viola Onwuliri , who represented the President urged the people to vote massively for President Jonathan and PDP candidates, adding that what the president has done for Nigerians, he deserves to be returned to continue with his good works.

Also the National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, urged the people to ensure that they vote for the government at the centre, adding that the development in Anambra State was because the immediate past administration keyed into the Federal Government.

Others present at the event held at the Holiday Resort, Onitsha, include Senators Jerry Alagbaoso, Joy Emordi, PDP National Woman Leader, Ambassador Kema Chikwe, House of Representatives members and top businessmen and women.
