Truckpusher: Some of these folks reasoning push one to begin to imagine sometimes if the unfortunate high unemployment rate isn't somewhat justified giving the capacity of brains you would be employing...I wonder f the guy you quoted read and understood this article before jumping to comment and quote you Jesuslovesyou, plz how is the poor in Amukoko, Mushin, Ajegunle etc faring under APC 16years? How's the people of Osun faring after over 11years of APC leadership? How's these SW states faring compared to their SE/SS mates whose economy ran under same Jonathan administration? Is anybody sending relief materials to them 3 Likes |

Whynotthetruth: You probably think you are making a whole lot of sense! You are not, and If folks don't understand your article it is only because it lacks substance. All economic indices still point to that fact that the SW is far more productive than the SE. 6 Likes |

Aigbofa: don't be somewhat myopic...I am pointing at an object and you're rather concentrating on my finger instead of seeing what I am pointing at...Have you ever seen this moniker comment on any tribal bashing thread What's the economic benefit of the world tallest drum for which the child in Osun state willll keep paying debts for the next 30years...Now, compare it to a child from Anambra with no debt and good education... what do u see...Have you been following recent academic ratings of states and schools?...With all the debts, which SW state outside Lagos do you still surviving any further? Mind you, I am not saying SE/SS are infallible but based on the propaganda in the system today, why should APC states be dying...it is contradictory and worst heat are my brothers in SW... 7 Likes |

@Francizy. Your sentiments are echoed. I cannot think clearly/coherently now to drop a meaningful comment. I have music blaring into both sides of my ear. Catering at an occasion. @Whynotthetruth What more can I say? I could feel the passion with which you wrote this. Forget the hypocrisy of some folks and their tribal bigotry. The truth is gradually gaining momentum among the sane on here. Over these few weeks, I have seen myself go from a militant criticizer of this govt, to one who is filled with sheer pity, for myself, for Nigerians, more especially for Oga BuBu and the office of the presidency. I feel like we've been roped into a thick, well woven and written plot. I even lost my zest to comment on anything anti-apc or buhari. For now, watching, observing and distributing likes does it for me, except if course, I am inspired. Happy Sunday Guys 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Mind you, I am not saying SE/SS are infallible but based on the propaganda in the system today, why should APC states be dying...it is contradictory and worst heat are my brothers in SW...[/quote] In as much as i wanted to agree with you on some valid points you raised, saying that south west states are the worse hit is a big lie.....Abia state is in the east, the state is the first to start owing workers, infact as we speak, the state is owing its workers for over 10 months, Enugu owes workers of its parastatals for 10 months also, imo is owing for 5 months, out of 5 south east states, 3 are owing. Even Akwa Ibom state, the richest in terms of oil rrvenue is also owing, Rivers state nko? Benue is totally moribund, Bayelsa might be managing to pay its workers because of the small size of its civil service but even the governor admitted that most capital projects have been on hold now for over a year. You cant compare the staff strength of Anambra's civil service to that of Osun, Osun has a much bigger stafg strenght. Even Soludo criticised the Anambra government for deciding to save money instead of investing the money in projects that will galvanise the state into an economic hub. It does not make sense saving money when 80% of your indigenes have to migrate to to other places if they hope to make any head way in business. Yes our governors have been wasteful and stupid, but it is not in any way limited to the south west governors, it is a national thing. And GEJ did not help matters he allowed a culture of waste to thrive without any attempt to check it. The era of oil is gradually coming to an end, its time to buckle up and face realities, as for the south west.... don't bother about us, if the Abacha and Goodluck era could not bring us down, we shall surely survive. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Whynotthetruth:Someone pointed it out to you that 18 states were owing salaries and other arrears and the quoted source included PDP and APC states from the North South East and West but of course the hypocritical you trashed it as one of those incoherent ramblings from the APC fanatics. I have never believed that we have political parties in the country, I call them platforms for the attainment of power so the problem has never been about parties but the system in which the country operates. Before that guy responds to the bolded, you mind telling him what Abians have enjoyed for the 16 years under PDP? Not to worry though, I know your reply-The people from there are so strong they don't need government to survive. As for your nefarious claims of the debt profiles of states, look into this report www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/fgs-external-debt-states-debt-profile-on-the-rise/ 2 Likes |
