I bought a london used bold 6 about a month ago and I really like the features, the specs, the touchscreen coupled with a nice keyboard. My only problem right now is the battery, the battery drains excessively it will barely last 8hours on standby mode and if I decide to use it, it will die out in less than 4hours. I've done everything possible from changing from one bold six to another, to swapping of batteries, I've tweaked settings over and over again, but the problem just don't seem to go away.


Phone gurus in the house should please help me.

The phone overheats at times and the battery drain rate is between 20-30% per hour. Thanks in advance

That's a problem bold 6 has, but try this few things to save more energy...
* always use 2G only use 3G when necessary
* close all un use applications like whatsap,twitter,facebooks, it doesn't stop notification coming in if you have any...to knw open app 3 seconds press on the button with bb logo all open apps will dispaly
*if you've change the batt and the fone still get hot try resetting the fone...note let the batt be fully charge b4 resetting

bro no offence bt hw do u xpct 1230mAh to gv u more than 4Hrs...
