Part 1. What's Move to iOS

Move to iOS, Apple's official app for Android phone, is designed to help Android users transfer data to their new iPhone. It is an aggressive move for Apple in order to compete new users against Android. And this application is truly helpful for users who are ready to switch from Android to iPhone. However, there is limitation on this app. Let's look what you need to use Move to iOS.

* iOS 9 or later
* iPhone 5 or later (iPad 4th generation or later, iPad mini 2nd generation or later, iPod touch 6th generation)
* Android version 4.0 or later

The most important requirement is that in order to use Move to iOS, your iPhone must be a totally new iPhone, which means it has not been set up. For now, it should be an iPhone 6s/ 6s plus. If you unfortunately have set up your iPhone 6s(plus), you have to erase it and start over. If you want to use this app to transfer data to earlier iPhone, say iPhone 5, you have to upgrade it to iOS 9, then reset it and start over.

Part 2. Preparatory Work
Assuming that you match all the conditions, let's learn how to use Move to iOS now.
Preparatory work
1.Download and install Move to iOS app to your Android phone.

Step 2. Run Move to iOS on Android Phone
On your Android phone, run Move to iOS app, then tap “Continue” on launch page. Read “Terms and Conditions” and tap “Agree”. On “Find Your Code” page, tap “Next”.

Step 3. Generate a Code on Your iPhone
On your iPhone, tap “Continue” on the “Move from Android” screen. Then wait for a ten-digit code to appear.

Step 4. Enter the Code and Start to Transfer
Enter the ten-digit code on your Android, then your iPhone will detect and pair with your Android phone. On the Android phone, select the data you desired and tap “Next”. Leave the two phones alone until the loading bar on your iPhone finishes. Keep your Android phone stay on the transfer screen.
