sorry about the delay.
1. going for a 3 year program after a 4-year program in Nigeria was an obvious redflag
2. seems you are not even listed as a director for the company to show the possibility of you taking over control of the company or involvement in the grand scheme of things
3. No payslips or inclusion of salary account
4. you need to be careful about switching programs completely so soon after your delay so you don't seem desperate as well but hey guess an excellent SOP could fix that

Hello,

Please a question for those that have traveled to Canada and collected their study permit at the point of entry before, where you ask to present any additional documents aside your POE letter of introduction, passport, letter of acceptance by the Canada Border officer before giving your study permits?

I read somewhere that we will still be ask to present other documents like proof of funds e.t.c...are we to show the statement of account we used to get TRV? please those people that goes through the process before should kindly help me share their experience...thank you

I'm not quite certain about how thier M.A programme work cuz I applied as a UG. It is always best to stay in a school's residence for first timers but you might see off Camp accomodation that are more flexible and cheaper. Here is ubc address- www.ubc.ca

Hello house. I was in Standard Chartered Bank today and I was told that, they allow tuition payment with a naira account with them @ CBN exchange rate. The commission will be 0.5% of ur fee and the money will reflect over there within 24-48hrs. I hope this is helpful.

May God bless you for the info.

@ hayqinsbFX

I am sorry about your delay bro, i don't quite agree 100% with people insinuating that Advanced Diploma was the reason for your delay.
For people with High school certificates, a Diploma takes 1-2 yrs and 3 yrs to complete and Advanced Diploma.
People with university degrees also undergo Advanced Diploma programs but in there case it is reduced to 2 yrs and termed fast track.

It will be wrong if you applied for 3 yrs Advanced diploma designed for fresh high school students while you already have a B.Sc. but if you applied for the 2 yrs fast track version designed for people with Diplomas and Bachelor's degrees then i don't think that should be an issue.

Also i think you gave the V.Os too much more than they asked and it back fired.
If you are 22, a fresh graduate barely 6 months out of school and your father is your sponsor, why did you bother yourself with a study leave and including your SOA?

@ hayqinsbFX here is my contribution...
firstly, you need self control...
secondly, forget about re-applying now or try to get admission for Msc if not i will say u should spend 2 weeks to fill this damn form (IMM5257E) and used 3 days to write your SOP( if you can do that delay will be reduce to purpose of visit and personal asset)... THE FORM IS UR PERSONAL gun , u BLOW IT U SHOT URSELF

BUT IF YOU WANT TO CLEAR ALL CALM DOWN AND FIND ADMISSION FOR Msc instead of all this advance diploma and PGD SOP WONT SORT IT BUT THIS DAMN FORM (IMM5257E)...am out

Yes, you can use the scanned doc he sent you. There's no need to courier them.

Have been reading the last 3 pages.

We have put aside our primordial focus of securing our own personal interests but have rallied around a friend, a facilitator and selfless person.
That is the price of a virtuous person.
@hayqinsbFX I'll abridge the valueable advice I have seen thus far. (from a neutralist point of view)

- Step back and look at your application holistically.
In this way, you 'll Exhibit more professionalIsm with your responses and be less emotional to the highlighted reasons for denial.

- a couple of your fans/loyalist have delivered some advice that should cost big bucks if you had met a counsellor or even the narrow minded agents.
Sieve through what @team12 has said to you, she has you at heart with her constructive criticism.

As a matter of fact, if CIC could scout VOs from NL some names would be hot acquisitions and valuable players. (BTW)

- Lastly, a member has offered you the religious perspective. If you are into that I'll advice you pray hard believing you ARE victorious.
Alternatively , I'd advice you practice the "Laws of Attraction". What you aspire for naturally get attracted to you from your positive mindset.

I strongly believe you are a success and would be a success.

Live Long and Prosperous mate.

Consoling our brother might further push him into depression. This is a mere app delay and not a case of death. Canada is becoming annoying these days. Our advise to our brother should be: option 1 reapply, option 2 try aussie, option 3 try uk, option 4 stay in naija and grow your father's business. Life is about money these days u know. @ Chrigo I'm not attacking you Sir, no disrespect at all.
Let's give our brother some space to think.

Depends on the border officer there. It is unlikely they ask you for financial proof, but you should be with your atm card to show you have access to funds. Also have the address of your destination.

House please am in a fix. My sponsor is my Aunt in the US,who has a joint account with her husband. Due to confidential reasons only 3months bank statement was approved. There's more than enough money for the funding but its just 3months.
She also sent letters of introduction form her office and bank stating her annual income and capability to sponsor me respectively. She also added her Tax summary. The bank in their letter also offered to clarify any doubts .a complementry card was attached.
Considering the requirements is 4months....would it be okay to still apply with the 3months bank statement?

Your Urgent advise is needed...
