Yes, you have to apply like a new applicant. I doubt if admission is still on for fall but check with whatever school's site you intend to be admitted into.

hayqinsbFX:....Construction management is okay since you already have a Bsc in Civil Engr...This response is based on a visa officer's note i found in an application....Although application is case by case...what applies to Taye might not apply to Kehinde...I have seen peeps with Bsc chop visa with advance diploma....Make i sharpally logout before Mevisbleek go attack me .....
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by mevisbleek: 12:31am On Jun 16, 2015
My brother the truth of the matter is that all we do on this forum is speculate. We don't know what the VO is thinking. However, after work I go settle down throw my little input.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 12:55am On Jun 16, 2015
Yeah, I know adv diploma isn't the issue.
But how many people have gotten visa with 3years adv diploma..
That I think is the issue...
I have mailed the school and it seems I have headway gettin a new LOA stating fasttrack of 2years.
That is exactly what colleges offer for guys with bsc...
And I think that's what I need..
Just wanna know if changin a course in such a short time snt gonna shoot me...if not, how will I tender my case in my sop

You should be able to get admission into a related program. Just search for some
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Solo8(m): 1:10am On Jun 16, 2015
This will be hard to even get admission. Only a few school offer pharmacy and those schools get a lot of applications, I have a cpl of friends in pharmacy school. So make sure her grades and/or experience are outstanding.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Solo8(m): 1:14am On Jun 16, 2015
Hey bro, wish I could be of more help to you. Have you been out of the country in the last 5 yrs? If so, where have you been. I feel like this is a factor.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 1:27am On Jun 16, 2015
No I havent
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Solo8(m): 1:38am On Jun 16, 2015
If you don't end up reapplying for the student route right away, I'd advise you to try and travel as much as possible before your next application. To me that history matters, even people like team12 that is going for post grad, I noticed she had a noticeable travel history aswell.
If you think I can help in any way, shoot me a msg anytime.

Solo8:Pharmacy is different from Pharmacology. The requirement for a post graduate degree in Pharmacology is usually BSc in Pharmacology, Toxicology, Physiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry e.t.c
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Nobody: 3:10am On Jun 16, 2015
ChriGo:I support you on this..Westerners think differently from Nigerians...application is indeed on a case by case basis. People have been given visas for what one will call a complete course miss-match and I have also met a dude from Nigeria with a degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering that still got a visa for a 2 year diploma in Electrical Engineering tech at Nait.. It's even in Canada that I first witnessed someone with a Phd in Chemistry from UBC return to college for a 2 year diploma in Chemical Engineering Tech (this one na canadian sha).
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by ChriGo(m): 3:26am On Jun 16, 2015
hayqinsbFX:.....Yes the duration is most probably the issue.....if your sch offers 2yrs fast track then its good...but careful with the docx you submit....The more the documents, the more you keep the VOs thinking.....just add employment letter(no personal SOA biko ) and work on your letter of explanation popularly known as SOP ....
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by NaD720: 3:34am On Jun 16, 2015
hayqinsbFX:Omg, so sorry to hear about that. Never give up.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Solo8(m): 3:49am On Jun 16, 2015
Oh ok. I read it as pharmacy. I'm not sure about pharmacology, I don't know anyone in that program.

saxywale:....Yes there is totally nothing wrong in switching career but VOs no dey gree see that one for naija visa applicants....They have Zero tolerance for any Jet Li move on any application coming from Naija applicants .... hence the reason for the 51 weeks processing time....Haba!!!...They better not announce that visa is now been processed in Lagos else this thread fit go into extinction....Back then na storming and ranting at the embassy gate for Lagos dey do the Magic ......
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Nobody: 4:53am On Jun 16, 2015
ChriGo:at the Jet li move... na wah for canadian vo's ooo..They have been notorious on naija application from time immemorial...i remember back in 1999 when we dey hustle for university admission. One of my padi back in those days wey im papa get money like mad submitted application for an undergraduate degree in Canada...na so them return him package exactly the way he arranged it with a refusal letter, the funny thing be say them no even touch all the documents wey im submit, a sealed reference letter from his principal in high school was not even opened .
na so we analyze that time sef say im be like say dem get quota to console my guy..i can see things haven't changed much..seems they are nice nowadays sha.
