Wld I have to apply like a new applicant or its gonna be a transfer thing? Can I still get admission for September semester? Thanks.

Yes, you have to apply like a new applicant. I doubt if admission is still on for fall but check with whatever school's site you intend to be admitted into.

Consoling our brother might further push him into depression. This is a mere app delay and not a case of death. Canada is becoming annoying these days. Our advise to our brother should be: option 1 reapply, option 2 try aussie, option 3 try uk, option 4 stay in naija and grow your father's business. Life is about money these days u know. @ Chrigo I'm not attacking you Sir, no disrespect at all.
Let's give our brother some space to think.
....Lmao!!!...Bros u dey attack me stylishly grin....anyways, he has been on the thread long enough to know whats best as i read some of his posts to see the awesome Job he has been doing here....gone through some of ur post as well and i see u're in Alberta...Good job here my man cuz i know how tight it is combining work and Nairaland....you can attack me any time any day...It is allowed grin....

yeah about the fast track track i tried it but the school wont give me a new loa but i was to start at year 2 when i get to canada.
I know thats an issue about my app....
omo na idea from here....guys even talk say i no put employment letter.
i wanted to put everything since i can easily get them.
standupguy:
@ hayqinsbFX

I am sorry about your delay bro, i don't quite agree 100% with people insinuating that Advanced Diploma was the reason for your delay.
For people with High school certificates, a Diploma takes 1-2 yrs and 3 yrs to complete and Advanced Diploma.
People with university degrees also undergo Advanced Diploma programs but in there case it is reduced to 2 yrs and termed fast track.

It will be wrong if you applied for 3 yrs Advanced diploma designed for fresh high school students while you already have a B.Sc. but if you applied for the 2 yrs fast track version designed for people with Diplomas and Bachelor's degrees then i don't think that should be an issue.

Also i think you gave the V.Os too much more than they asked and it back fired.
If you are 22, a fresh graduate barely 6 months out of school and your father is your sponsor, why did you bother yourself with a study leave and including your SOA?

you havent communicated sir.
besides forget about msc as i have a 2nd class lower....
dedicateDD:
@ hayqinsbFX here is my contribution...
firstly, you need self control...
secondly, forget about re-applying now or try to get admission for Msc if not i will say u should spend 2 weeks to fill this damn form (IMM5257E) and used 3 days to write your SOP( if you can do that delay will be reduce to purpose of visit and personal asset)... THE FORM IS UR PERSONAL gun , u BLOW IT U SHOT URSELF

BUT IF YOU WANT TO CLEAR ALL CALM DOWN AND FIND ADMISSION FOR Msc instead of all this advance diploma and PGD SOP WONT SORT IT BUT THIS DAMN FORM (IMM5257E)...am out
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 11:07pm On Jun 15, 2015
would add employment letter this time around along with the leave.
then go for the graduate certificate.
Snappyfingaz:

The duration of your program has nothing to do with your denial. If e like make e be 20years. Think of this... You submitted a study leave letter from a company you are not employed in. If you are a V.O what does that tell you?

Yeah, I know adv diploma isn't the issue.
But how many people have gotten visa with 3years adv diploma..
That I think is the issue...
I have mailed the school and it seems I have headway gettin a new LOA stating fasttrack of 2years.
That is exactly what colleges offer for guys with bsc...
And I think that's what I need..

Just wanna know if changin a course in such a short time snt gonna shoot me...if not, how will I tender my case in my sop

Hello House, please im new on this thread. I would appreciate everyone's idea and contribution, I want to process a master application for my sister in any Canadian university that offers masters in Pharmacology. please how can i go about it, cos I wont want to use SO CALLED AGENTS. ANTICIPATE REPLIES!!

This will be hard to even get admission. Only a few school offer pharmacy and those schools get a lot of applications, I have a cpl of friends in pharmacy school. So make sure her grades and/or experience are outstanding.

If you don't end up reapplying for the student route right away, I'd advise you to try and travel as much as possible before your next application. To me that history matters, even people like team12 that is going for post grad, I noticed she had a noticeable travel history aswell.

If you think I can help in any way, shoot me a msg anytime.

undecided Pharmacy is different from Pharmacology. The requirement for a post graduate degree in Pharmacology is usually BSc in Pharmacology, Toxicology, Physiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry e.t.c

I support you on this..Westerners think differently from Nigerians...application is indeed on a case by case basis. People have been given visas for what one will call a complete course miss-match and I have also met a dude from Nigeria with a degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering that still got a visa for a 2 year diploma in Electrical Engineering tech at Nait.. It's even in Canada that I first witnessed someone with a Phd in Chemistry from UBC return to college for a 2 year diploma in Chemical Engineering Tech (this one na canadian sha).

.....Yes the duration is most probably the issue.....if your sch offers 2yrs fast track then its good...but careful with the docx you submit....The more the documents, the more you keep the VOs thinking.....just add employment letter(no personal SOA biko grin) and work on your letter of explanation popularly known as SOP grin....
