Visited Enugu and could not recognise most places there. Chime was a very silent performer, no media propaganda, paying workers salaries upto date even though Enugu is not an oil producing state.

Most loudmouthed states in a certain zone of the country who describe themselves as sophisticated but their governors can't pay common salaries...........hahaha

Chime is press shy, but ask anyone from Enugu and they will tell u the guy is one of best governors in Nigeria. Probably if by revenue accruing to state versus infrastructure he wld b number one. Why he does not blow his trumpet? Who knows?

An Igbo inspired edifice unlike the ugly Abuja imitation of U.S capitol buildings.From here the Igbo rebirthing of Biafra and reignition of Igbo power will spread far and wide like the ancient Rome.

That's one thing some of them don't know, we starved, died, no education for 3years, no infrastructure for 3years, what we had was gun shots and bombs going off, people were dying... But today we are top in education and compete in other endevours with just £20 that was giving to us in 1970. IGBO OZOEMENA

Though I was not happy when he started demolishing the archaic colonial secretariate complexes.
I thought the ageless stone houses with the embedded tower wall clock of British style; would be preserved for tourism for younger generation.
I thought the new N13bil could have been done on a different site.
But I sincerely appreciate his taste, vigor, and the architecture of the new secretarial complex ... Congrats 042 ... Congrats Gov. Chime

Destroying the old building was a stupid move... That kind of building is classified as grade A listed building, and they are often the main centre of attractions in most western cities.
