Not so. Listen this is how it goes CIC expects you to have Your tuition + 10,000CAD. The 10,000CAD is expected to cover your Accom, living cost plus miscellaneous. Others is optional not mandatory.

Who said it was?

Just to be on the safe side, if the funds are there, let him state it.

Please advice on this details.
If it's a postgraduate study, Computer Science (MSc), preferred location is British Columbia, Manitoba or your advise will be welcomed on a better location.

Please which institution/location is advisable to enroll in terms of affordability/low cost of living?

Google, my friend.

Check out institutions in Saskatchewen too, all on google.

Hello,

Your abswer is quiet straightforward,
In the funds available for your stay section:
Your Tuition for a year + CIC estimated 10,000CAD + Others, say, 9,000CAD = 35,600CAD

Which is still within the sum total of both accounts.

Remember to put the Value in dollars, so 35,600 shldnt be written as 5,670,000.

Goodluck.
Are u saying, apart from 10,000Cad estimated, where do u get that 9,000Cad. Must I use 9k for others expenses...reply house

Hello my brothers and sisters on Nairaland,

I submitted my application on May 28 and did my biometrics on June 3. This is what I've got up till now:

"Application/profile status: Open
Review of medical results: Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
Review of biometric information: Not needed at this time
A final decision has been reached: Not Started"

Does it take this long for CIC to receive biometrics? I have gone back to VAC for re-capturing but I was told they don't collect biometrics from a candidate twice. Guru in the house, please help a brother as the 30-day ultimatum given lapses in few days. Should I just assume CIC has received my biometrics and upfront medicals as there is nothing to suggest that in my GCkey? A brother is worried here, please help.

"Not needed at this time" meant they have received it. Relax!

you mustn't use 9k for others.....just calculate how much is left after you deduct your tuition fee and the 10, 000 CND required for accom/feeding....what ever amount you have left on your soa/sponsor's soa is the amount you state as others (to be on the safe side), l think there is also a part where they asked for the total. Hope u get?

Having gotten some knowledge from this thread on the TRV process, I find this comment very funny. grin

At first, it's "We need applicants biometrics" I think. Probably you didn't notice. It will change to Not needed at this time once they receive your biometrics. From my personal experience tho.
