lt is laziness and not happening in Lagos alone as l had that same experience in Enugu years back while construction was going on, a group of rough looking boys came in a bus, did some stunts with the bus at the site and demanded to be settled as they were Nike Youths. l codedly called the Rev.Father who was in charge of the Project, he also drove into the site spinning his car, came out with a horsewhip (koboko) and told them to repeat their request...see boys and Ben Johnson! The Priest said he would have shown them some of the experience he had gathered working in mafia-dense neighbourhoods in Italy! cheesy cheesy cheesy

Well the truth has to be told..... If not for the Igbos I wonder wat Lagos would look like. Records from the office of LAGOS STATE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (LSDA) shows that the Igbo's have acquired more than half of Lagos and presently they are gradually acquiring lands in Ogun state........ let there be peace.

I think the question should be directed to such touts in Delta state with their "Deve levy" (Developmental levy) they charge even when you want to repair your plumbing.

Lazy scums are everywhere selling and reselling already sold land too. It is commonplace in every commercially viable city in the South, but I can't say much about the North.

Who is more of a miscreant between Ariyo who owns a medical practice and the jobless Igbos who line up the street to his abode?

They have their fellow generations of lazy youth in Enugu, Delta, Rivers and all other states in the South of Nigeria.

So you stop localizing a broader problem, and proffer solutions that would eliminate such thuggery across the country.

Some people think because his tribesman has a house in a highbrow area, every other tribesman is also doing well.

There was a documentary on ghetto Lagos done by BBC or another media house during the 1st term of Fashola. The 1st dramatis personae of the documentary was an Igbo family man scavenging in the slum's refuse yard for his daughter's birthday that would cost just about N15000, the other was a guy (not sure if he's Igbo or Delta) who had aspirations for music.

Both were living in slums similar to the Yoruba landlord picture above posted by quid.

For quid, I understand it's good to dream big. I guess that picture hangs on your wall hoping to move from the slums to the boulevard someday. Many have done it, many will be waiting to receive you when you get there.
