Before I started keeping dog, I read a lot of post on pet section which seun also contributed about feeding, so I was made to know that feeding them such food is not healthy when they are not bingo. I guess prodeegee would explain better on this.

But I give my dog indomie waste mixed with meat and some times Jojo can food, and she also takes "bob Martin" dry food. I hope this would help

Dogs need some essential nutrients. Puppies need a lot of protein while adults need an average amount of protein.

If their foods is finished, you can cook rice and add fish, egg, or meat for them. Any source of rich protein.

Hahaha yes he's definitely living in the limelight. I did a collage of him from when I got him till now. I just realised how big he's grown in less than 3 months. I miss his black face though. His colour has changed a bit since I got him.

Most GSDs in Nigeria are diluted. You hardly find the pure breed slant back GSD around. All you see are these glorified local dogs you call GSDs.

A pure GSD slant back will cost you nothing less than 300k. If that is what you meant by cheap, then I agree completely with you that the are cheap.

Anybody with a pure GSD for breeding is actually sitting on a gold mine.

This is a pure GSD... Not the fake ones we have in Nigeria.

yep! who doesn't? since when she was about a month!

buh recently when she was pregnant, she didn't eventually give birth. just like that... her teat were no more spilling m!lk at just touching it.

I didn't see any sign of her giving birth and eating it... cos I checked her everyday.

vet couldn't explain, and she is still okay now.

Good write up, but those are just the pros, which even are not absolute or exclusive to GSD.
Now the Cons:
They are very prone to infection from tick bites especially babesiosis, as they are less immuned against it compared to other breeds.
They are the most abused breed worldwide as a variety of them have been mixed with other breeds and thus reduction in their quality.
Their puppies are usually not highly priced especially those ones that have been abused.
Parvo-virus infection is more fatal in GSD and RotBreeds than others.
Its very difficult and expensive to get a pure breed.

The dog in the pix is K9, 100% GSD and her puppies went between 70-100k.
