1.Jesus did not curse the money changers....he called them out on their sinful actions.(Like a parent reproves a child for wrongdoing).

2.The fig tree was not aminate...and was meant to be a lesson to the disciples.

Remember also that Jesus ate with the thieves of the day....the publicans...and when the Pharisees rebuked him....this is what he said..

Stephen forgave his killers...(and he Stephen was described as being full of the Holy Spirit).

And among his killers was a man named Saul.

And Saul....became Paul....who brought the gospel to lots of people....the same gospel that he used to hate.

They always manage to spot a negative or flaw from someone they hate - unnecessarily.
Jesus cursed the fig tree because it didn't bring forth fruit. (Matt. 11:12-25). Jesus wouldn't curse anything if cursing evil is a sin.
In Genesis, God cursed the ground because of Adam and Eve's evil - cursing them indirectly too. Why? Disobedience.
Exodus 22:18 says we should suffer not the witch to live.
How do you suffer evil?
The kidnappers did evil and disobeyed.
Maybe, when any of you lambasting falls victim or gets affected, you'd probably hug, kiss and bless the kidnappers over the phone.

To clear the air, we have those whose evil atrocities outweigh kidnapping, yet, when they come to give their lives to Christ, Men of GOD like Bishop Oyedepo will still accept them, pray for them and lead them to CHRIST.

oga. Go study your Bible, praying for the enemies is different from the operations of God's Spirit to manifest His Power. Have you forgotten Peter and Ananias with His Wife in Acts 5:1-10, against Simon in Acts 8:20. This has only brought fear of GOD upon many as in Acts 8:11.

Jesus is the vine and you are the branch and any branch that produces worthless fruit shall be cut off... He didn't ask you to pray for the Vine to be fruitful or you know better.
