Dino, is a clown, who rode on Sai Baba mantra to the Senate. Any attempt at recalling him will be a huge success in Kogi west senatorial district. He is of infinitesimal political value, he got the ticket, by machinations of party leaders in the state, who elbowed Sam Aro and Bidemi Adeyemi aside. Dino did not emerge through any credible primaries. And more so, we were tired of Smart Adeyemi. He's just show boating, to step down for Abubakar Audu later.

It is the normal procedure. In democracy the supremacy of the party that sponsored you to your post is paramount. If Buhari as the President can follow the party's directive (even though claimed he is a dictator) then who is Dino Melaye to form Van Damme? It will be foolish for any party to sponsor an obviously disloyal member for a position who will not follow its manifesto, programme, directives, will believe he should be the one to be directing the party and above all will not blink twice before he carry the party's mandate to another party.

Adamu Attah who ruled Kwara State from 1979 to 1983 was from Okene (Okene). Kogi State was carved out of Kwara and Benue states.

A senator that has not even settled down for the business of lawmaking is already eying the governorship seat. Maybe he has discovered that the seat is more juicy and rewarding than the one he occupies now. He is ready to forget all the promises he made to his constituents during his senatorial campaign and fabricate another set of promises to suit his gubernatorial ambitions. These guys are political businessmen who deceive the electorate as leaders. If it is possible for him to be a part time lawmaker and a full time governor, i know he will choose that. The Dino I know knows there is no way he can make the guber seat, but being his nature, he likes to curry attention. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if PDP retain Kogi.
