now I'm officially confused,so some assessing bodies require general n others require academic IELTS...On EA I didn't see any one that is required but all along I've decided to do academic cos this is what I've done before some years back.

EA accepts any of the two. Go for the general module. Easier to ace than academic.

Why not do it immediately? Do you have something holding you back?

Some people like myself may find the academics easier to pass than the General test.
I usually don't do well writing an informal letter. Probably he is i n that category.

Overall or in each band?

I don't know how the Indians do it, I know some of them that hit 8.5 and 9.0 in Academic module. However, with the Indians, the more you look, the less you see.. cheesy grin

Why not just lodge the eoi now. What if there are changes in July? Lodge it now to avoid stories that touch o lol....you should be able to meet up with the last round for the year....that is if they have not sent out invites already though.

There are two major milestones in the bid to securing a positive PR application. Congrats! You have reached the two. Lodge your EoI and start putting your Nigerian house in order. Prepare to say "Goodbye". Your journey begins soon.

Congrats. Please lodge NOW because anything could by 1 July,2015. God forbid, if someone occupation is removed from the list by July 1, it means nothing could be done except a different occupation is nominated. Why would you allow that? I checked an occupation on CSOL list on the Saturday and the State sponsoring the occupation and by Monday, just 2 days after, the state revised their list. Guess what, the guy is no longer eligible just within 2 days.

Hmmmm. I wish I knew oh. The challenge is that my TAFE is a diploma in building construction while I am an accountant. Wouldn't I be shooting my self if I reveal my status as an accountant?.
I applied with my o level For the diploma.

I have plenty questions oh.

Please I am counting on ur ass

What motivated you to choose the course in the first instance? Do you really want to pursue the course or you just want to travel? Are you working at the moment in Nigeria? If yes, you do need to waste your money on study that will not add to your previous experience for the purpose of migration point provided that the money paid is refundable. You could just use the money for your assessment and visa.

Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Dav6: 2:54pm On Jun 23, 2015
Please any alternative to IOM Nigeria Abikoye said I shud give them 3weeks after scanning my bio data page and all b4 everytin can be finalise because they work in conjunction with there Ghana office, IOM Australia ve not replied me, I mailed them yday...any alternative? people in the house Because my skol resume mid July I can't wait for 3weeks @Laminaria:76 talking about ur family unit>ur partner and ur children not yet turned 18 are ur family unit..if you know you are not married pls dat place is not met for you..make sure u fill Question 40 and use your Job offer/employment as ur ties REVERT to my comment on page 44 here ...with that you are gud to go regards to home ties as relate to "SVP only pls note"...Laminaria they can't deny you visa coz you are not married, guess you left the space 40 not attended to, maybe other financial reasons contributed too. I first advised you to go for svp prog remember... @Olagigar. Bro a genuine statement of acc for sponsorship purpose must come with cover/ref letter from the bank even if you are the owner of the account, have mentioned earlier that if you are not married another gud option to show home ties, that is thru your job... revert to my earlier comment, back with strong SOP tailor to that...in that case there must be strong link between you and your sponsor for Assessment level 3 application coz DIBP will definitely confirm and even send bank confirmation form 'in most cases' to your sponsor to sign and all this are subject to confirmation....that is why i strongly advise that peeps should go for combined diploma and adv diploma that wud qualify you for svp this will safe you the stress of huge/fat statement of acc which you do not have and afford you the opportunity to face your visa application squarely.. @Blueprint2015 yes Svp subclass 572

Thanks everyone. Ferdimako, bossladymo, NNBB2012, manmeta, Redreact, and everyone elsei forgot to mention. I must confess that i'm more than willing to lodge. the only problem is BC has not dispatched my remarked IELTS result. I need just 0.5 to cap my WRITING, after 3 unsuccessful tries. Ive been preparing for PTE hoping that the IELTS results would come out in two weeks time

Age - 30
Education - 15
IELTS (L9, R7.5, S7, W6.5) - 0 points
Work Experience - 0 points
(I'll be 3 years in my nominated occupation on August 22, 2015 after which i garner 5 points, so till then 0 points)

Regarding my nominated occupation, Electronic Engineer ANZCO 233411, i can only pray that it is left untouched o! It is on NSW CSOL and the SOL and last time i checked only 600 out of 1000 applications were received this financial year.
