I have heard folks that leaves in big cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Ibadan say that Ilorin is nothing more that a Village. No romantic places, no good clubs, no fancy places, no companies, no money and no where to get good things in Ilorin. Also, some say that ilorin people are local. |

Ilorin is not a village or town just in the middle..... though say town get categories just like my village na town compared to other villages  I love the place sha....very cool and peaceful! |

Ilorin is among the 14cities in Nigeria recognized by Wikipedia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/.../List_of_citi... Also, if you consider definition of a City in UN standard (which is in term of resident population) Ilorin will qualify. And even many other State capital in Nigeria will qualify too. Beside these, the Political, Economic and Educational institutions in Ilorin also qualify it as a City. |
