Good evening mamas. Please apart from eating well to improve breastmilk, is there any drug I can take (maybe supplement or cod liver oil)?. I was given ferobin plus after I put to bed. I'm asking because sometimes I find it hard to eat cos of lack of appetite. Thanks. |

RashMe:Are you a joker? 1 mth old baby sleep through the night? Number 1- Their tummies cant hold enough food that will last them through the night. So they will definitely wake up. Number 2 - They dont have established sleep cycles yet. Your mum did the same for you too. That is why mothers are advised to sleep when baby sleeps. It's just 1 month, and you are already complaining. You sef wont want your less than 3 month old to sleep through the night, cos it's not normal. Pele! That's motherhood for you. Guess you are a first time mum. |

dunnybaby26:Yea...morning sun gives Vit D. But you will have to expose his body and let him spend a long time in the sun, for him to get the adequate amount. That's why giving him Vit D in a medicinal form is much easier. Cod Liver Oil is very good. Combine that with the playing in the sun....then see the Ortho also. |

MGeey:Buy Pregnacare Breastfeeding. It will patch up the low nutrient intake due to your lack of appetite. |

dunnybaby26:I'm pretty sure the paed would have taken a look into the inner ear with that instrument with a torch on it. If there was any object there, he would have seen it. |

bossladymo1:am FTM, i dont really mean she should sleep all thru d night. She usually wakes up at least 4-5 times and she falls back asleep as soon as i breastfeed her. I just dont like dis long break of no sleep at all |

RashMe:Eh ya! Pele. What you can do is be less active at night, and more active during the day. Sooner or Later, her brain is going to notice the difference and adjust. |

RashMe:Then you have to adjust her cycle as I said earlier. Babies sleep longer when they are being held. During my time, what I did was express bm, and feed baby from a bottle. My son always ate more from the bottle...which in turn, knocks him out. That method, coupled with switching activity level, helped adjust him. |
