LOVE OF MONEY I'm no longer anxious to get rich In as much as I can get my wish The love of money makes me look like a witch Besides, the good things of life is at my reach I don't want to put myself in an unnecessary hardship Though the rich has a large follower-ship As long as its God that I worship I'm free from the devil's fellowship Though I love to enjoy life But no good thing comes without strife Myself, my children and my wife Have resolved to live as five Henceforth, I will not be in pursuit of vanity Love of money is vane, this is reality Forsake lust, to live in tranquillity In order to avoid the world calamity Now I'm satisfied and freed Also blessed and save from greed My way of life, my children can succeed And my generation unborn can embrace what I decreed Aladegorioye Adesola Joseph Lalasticlala Ishilove |
