A very rare photo. When is the last time you saw a photo of Nairobi with Africa's second tallest mountain in the background? Must be from late 2013 or early 2014 given the absence of UAP. 1 Like |

gallivant:Amazing, I wonder whether you can see both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya at the same time from Nairobi, it would be a very amazing experience. |
Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by Nobody: 12:33pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
gallivant:It hadn't registered that it was Mt. Kenya on the background. Come to think of it, the city is surrounded by mountains, |

Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by gallivant: 8:52pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
Time for a trip down memory lane.Do you guys remember these renders from 2012? You have to appreciate such major changes in just 3 years.Of course there have been many more towers proposed in addition to those depicted in the below render. Amazing transformation.. |

Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by Nobody: 11:25am On Jun 29, 2015 |
gallivant: It's probably underrated coz kuna malls mob hiyo area, Yaya centre is just close by, on the other side on Ngong' road kuna akina Nakumatt Prestige Plaza na Nakumatt Junction which have been there longer, the people who built this mall should have taken that into account, plus ile Lavington green mall bado iko? |

gallivant: LadyX:I hear they want to build a China town in Athi river, so expect the huge skyscrapers famous in Chinese cities, then kuna zile za upperhill na tena kuna the proposed Machakos city and then Konza city, Imagine that corridor of skyscrapers all the way to Machakos, what happened to those projects? |
Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by LadyX(f): 12:22pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
pkjag:That reminds me of Tatu City. No one is saying anything about Tatu & Konza. |
Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by Nobody: 12:29pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
LadyX:It's sad for Konza coz Uhuru's not giving it priority probably coz it was Kibaki's project, they gave it sijui 800M in 2014 and a further 900M this year, that's just not enough for a project of such massive scale, Tatu is privately owned don't know what happened to it though. |
