worksmart:It made sense when it took GEJ 6 weeks to come up with his own ministers, but Buhari's 4 weeks doesn't make any sense bah? Is 6 not greater than 4 or you are going by GEJ's Governor's forum 16 over 19 Arithmetic? |

sukkot:You just don't like people enjoying life . Each to their own I guess. equally, I don't like injustice(morally bankrupt sharia laws for the poor), hypocrites, tribal killers, selfish people(religion intolerance), power hungry attitudes most of which are synonymous with the northerners. Please get some perspectives. The idea that anyone who enjoys life somehow lacks dignity or humility is laughable. We only live once so we might as well enjoy it as reasonable as possible. |

blackprowler:Bro, Nairaland and several other social media platforms have only helped to confirm the much touted bastardization of the Nigerian educational sector. Educated people? Nah. More like educated illiterates. You have to give it to IBB. He really did a good job. Destroy the standard of education, destroy the economy and the people will be easier to lead by the nose. No wonder the same old men still decide the fate of this country. The younger generation are more adept at senseless e-wars. Now graduates are the chief peddlers of beer parlour gist. There was a country. |

PDP, APC, not much of a difference for me. A better Nigeria is what I desire. I don't give a hoot about the tribe, gender or religion of who delivers it. |

sukkot:The Northerners, Hausa and Fulani, are not Negroes, Negroes are a devolved people. Only Negroes are in hell at this time, the peak of the dignity of the non-Negro is what you are so in love with, the very highest height that non-Israel can attain is doing your eyes like this We fell, Isaiah 29:14 But we will rise again Romans 11:12. |

lexy2014:Unfortunately, the wherewithal it takes to function as you described flows from up down Until that's changed , we are tragically flawed For a start, APC is saying, let Local Council GGovernments receive allocations directly and disburse directly without State government intervention. Can we see rag working soon? But then, the culture of stealing must be stopped before any meaningful progress can be made q |

Pavarottii:Funny story. These are some of the last minute appointments former President GEJ made before he left, but since he is one of us (Southerners), it's totally in order. "Last week, members of staff of the Nigerian Port Authority were shocked when they learnt a new Managing Director has been appointed to pilot the affairs of the agency. Jonathan appoints Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero (Northerner) as the new helms-man while. He also appointed Gwarzo (Northerner) as the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. In the same vein, Jonathan terminated the appointment of the Executive Secretaries of the Petroleum Equalisation Fund (PEF) and that of the Nigerian Content Management Development Board (NCDMB), Sharon Adefunke Kasali (Southerner) and Engineer Ernest Nwapa(Southerner). Jonathan appointed Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development Asabe Asmau Ahmed (Northerner) as new PEF executive secretary." Are you guys seeing how lame your comments are? Every civilian and military government since Azikiwe/Balewa have had a mix of North and South political appointees. Yet in 2015 you lot are still peddling this lame jargon? It's a damn shame. |

Dollyak:oh i never said i dont like people enjoying life. however ' enjoying life ' means different things to different people. for me enjoying life is having a higher calling. a higher purpose. engaging your higher self instead of your lower self. seeking wisdom knowledge and understanding. like they did in atlantis ( the garden of eden ) before it got destroyed. their is a higher path in this life that many dont know about. we are electromagnetic beings and in the air are different electromagnetic frequencies that our spirit syncs into. some call it vibration and some call it dimensions. there are higher dimensions for souls who have graduated from seeking to fulfill their lower self and want to enrich their higher self. so many are still trapped in a destroyed 3 dimensional way of living but there is a higher path and that higher path will be fully manifested after the luna eclipse of september 28. its called the return of the ancient gods of old. the return of christ. right now as we speak we have jupiter and venus in a very close conjunction, the likes of which has not happened in 2000 years. it is called the star of bethlehem signifying what ? the return of the ancient gods is here. the annunaki or nephilim. beings who operate on the highest vibratory frequencies. they are coming back. so the point to this whole rant is, your idea of enjoyment is the lowest dimensional existence for the ' left behinds ' and the ' destroyed '. there is a higher path and those on that higher path have different ' ways of enjoying themselves '. am not knocking you for your likes. its just that me personally i am more attracted to beings with substance. people who live for something. people on a mission. a higher path. like i would be fascinated by characters like malcolm x, thomas sankara, tunde idiagbon, buhari etc etc. ![]() then you have very low vibratory beings who live for their lusts and desires which is why all they think about is looting the treasury when they get some kind of power. the goodlucks, the diezani maduekes, the iwealas, etc |

ogagwa:for the most part. there is a reason why stereotypes are used as one of the tools for FBI and CIA and INTERPOL profiling. if a black woman is caught being a prostitute in italy the italian police know she is edo. if a black man is caught with drugs in asia the asians know he is igbo, etc etc. these stereotypes are real. |
| Re: Amina Zakari Acting INEC Chairman (photo) by worksmart(m): 11:58pm On Jun 30, 2015 |
GEJ took 6weeks because he was already part yr president. Therefore all he had to do was reshuffle some ministers. There was no urgency. Now when a new government from an opposition political party fails to appoint it own choice of ministers, then there is a big problem somewhere. aresa: |

worksmart:Being the president and already having aids, institutions and powers to facilitate and move things along was an advantage to get things done in less than a week instead of 6 weeks. Your logic is upside down logic... Typical low grade TaNoid mentality.. |

dominique:INEC is not a key position and the lady is a temp till someone is found. She is currently an INEC commissioner and can bridge the handover. What if everything is filled with northerners , if they don't steal the country dry I'd be happy |
| Re: Amina Zakari Acting INEC Chairman (photo) by Nobody: 12:49am On Jul 01, 2015 |
IMO, having several northerners in important positions in this nation is not a new trend. I'd observed, with dismay, this trend more than a decade ago. It's indeed a worrisome development. And it's high time the hegemonic influence, by the northern elites, in our polity stopped. |

A lot of you were not born in the 80's and 90's that is why you are suprised about the appointments. Look brace up, it has not started, I expect people to clamp down on the freedom very soon. That is what i am worried about. When the killings starts actually, when nollywood and the music industries are silenced. When banking duties are reduced just to allow black marketers reign supreme. I know they have their eyes on the crude even if it sell for $5 per barrel, but NEVER AGAIN. |
