I want to believe u are not from osun. and if u are, u must be supporting the actions of the state gov. leme tell u, osun is reliant on allocation to sustain it. in truth, its not good but its the bitter fact we av to stomach. it has a big population to cater for. these civil servants we talk of. when they receive salaries, they don't go to ibadan or Lagos to flex their money. they spend it here. the self employed, market men, masons, bricklayers and even the bank get the money. it revolves round the state. we are not like ur place where u can to some extent afford to keep quiet even when not paid. and its not as if we av accepted our situations hook, like and sinker. condemn bad governance. these gov need be put on their toes. they spend recklessly. they av been advised before now. I personally don't like okonjo because her policies are harsh for the Nigerian populace but yet, she was right as regards spending by the govs. open a thread, speak for ur state and if osun news bores u, ignore but don't criticize those that condemn the gov cause we av our points.
I don't know your exact point, but who told you other workers whose states are owing always move out of their respective states to flex their monies too? In fact, the fact that you have stomach should be an indication that they have stomach too.

Whether you like Okonjo Iweala or not is none of my business, but instead of all these incessant comments from her, have you asked yourself the extent to which she has diversified our economy as a Minister of Finance for about six years?

Condemn bad governance, but don't make it seems selective because it will only make you subjective instead of being objective. In other words, what is good for goose is also good for the gander. It takes you less than 5 minutes to create an objective thread: get the fact.

Osun is not yours alone, I was born and brought up there: it is ridiculous how you exaggerates as if we don't have other states who are in the same shoe.

God bless Nigeria.

Do you actually read and understand or are you some sort of robot programmed to spill same junk?

The thread is of Osun, create a new one for the other States owing. Aregbe has failed and his people are calling him out. Period. Go get other states to call out their governors.

BTW, you can keep insulting, it's who you are and how you were raised.

Several states owing doesn't make Aregbe right... There be states that ain't owing.

Wouldn't reply u afterwards, ethno-political blindness requires spiritual cleansing, so can't help you.
It is not a surprise that you were not talented when it comes to reasoning: May be your brain needs scanning and lamination is what I don't know. Logic requires deep mental horizon and not opening mouth and be talking like a sex-starved individual.

While I am not here to justify aregbe's actions, please remember that states in your region with much allocations and internally generated revenue still owes, yet you have not open a thread to condemn this for once.

Continue having orgasm on my post: you will soon get sense.

Sorry for opening your mind from being brain-washed. Osun State is in problem, just like its counterparts: stop the exaggeration. May God give you enablement to witness my administration which will be totally entrenched in good governance and administration when the time comes.

Mr man. its just good u keep ur mouth shut as long as u aren't affected. cos I am. guys like u don't understand what good governance is abt. u go abt babbling. ur point prior to this was why not condemn other states as well but I tell u, its not as if they aren't feeling the heat but someone just must start talking. I said earlier, Egypt and Tunisia and other arab countries didn't just find themselves where they are today until a statement was made.

What do you know about governance that you are blabbing about? Can you please explain 'equality' and 'objectivity' among the Nolan's principles of corporate governance/administration in public service?

Continue waiting for one government to come and solve domestic problem for you while you have many identifiable potentialities: your eyes will soon clear.

E ma lo f'ose yii wa o. Does the judiciary have the power to impeach a governor?
No, but the Judge as a citizen is right to petition the Government.

The day I heard Aregbe was Building an Airporty, I realized he's disorganized.

Osun has lots of Mineral resources, Agricultural products and Tourism industry.

I hope he's is impeached.

Why does Osun state appear to be the only state making so much noise about this crises when there are over 20 states caught up in the mess? Aregbesola owes 7 some states owe 6 and others 5, yet we hardly hear a word from them.

I think this is beyond mere salaries. Someone somewhere is pulling these strings.
Pathetico, you truly belong to the museums of Nigerian politics.

Was he not the same Governor that was blaming Jonathan for everything but I guess now that Jonathan is out of the picture he's got no scape goat - We are simply reacting to his past rhetoric.

You deserve a combine service flogging in your community market square. grin

tongue tongue tongue It is ironical how you claim to be guru in governance without knowing the principle that governs it. If you want to be truly objective, why can't you start it by yourself.

Living in lamentation and self pity is not the way out.

Awww, certainly this isn't a good time for Aregbe. Really pity him, he isn't a bad man like most people here have been painting him to be.

Osun state had good times and lot of wonderful memories anyway. Its just so unfortunate that the present situation of things seem dwindling.

It is well.
He is not as bad? Wow you guys are really used to mediocre.

So APC now guarantees good governorship to the extent you can pray they don't lose Osun? So you vote based on party not because of candidate.

A governor can only lose his seat through three processes:
1. Impeachment by the parliament.
2. Recall by the electorate.
3. By the members of the executive council if the governor has poor health that has an adverse effect on his function.
No judge can remove a governor except during tribunal ruling.

Clueless man. Apc governors be like DEBTORS, a case study is the former Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state who owed my mum 12months pension with gratuity.

Is it only Osun that is owing workers?
Why are you people so deceitful?
Oil is crashing fast? Sorry do you live with me on planet earth? oil has started rebounding! and yes my statement clearly indicated that the buck falls on his table, but pretending that you state govs can survive without federal allocations is being callously irresponsible don't you think?
I saw your analysis and i must ask you, would you prefer to be among the best in life or among the failures. You said he is not the only governor yet to pay, why cant he be among the governors who have paid.

Guy, they never knew the oil thing will hit our country hard like this. If not, the mislaced priorities some of them took would have been avoided.

Simply put, Aregbesco fumbled. Please accept and move on.

Cheers

I indicated in my post that the buck falls on arebge table. Now it has been revealed that mr. Ebele didn't remit 3.8 trn to the federation account, another reason we should cut him some slack.

In as much as I reason with you, its an allegations but not yet proven. If you ask me, I will tell you all those governors are just giving excuses.

My brother, they have been giving them security votes allowance, what do they use it for, they are same people that forced federal govt to share excess crude oil. All those governors are crooks my brother.

Dont support any of them.
