I will like every christian lik-minded people to join us here to analys John 3:3 which reads:

''Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.''

Key word are:

Somebody should quote the Greek version here.

what does it mean to be ''poor in spirit'' and ''meek''

To understand what it means to be born again, you will first and foremost understand what happen in Eden. God told Adam, if you eat from this tree you shall surely die. Eve ate, wen she saw that she didn't die, she gave to her husband who also ate and still didn't die.
QUESTION. Why didn't Adam drop dead there and then? Did God lie to them?
Ofcourse not. In Isa 59:1-3 pls read it.
When adam sinned, he died spiritually. He gave up the nature of God which was in him and took up Satans nature thereby creating a Gulf between himself and God. The Merciful God dint leave him(Adam) in that state. The need for a sacrifice when ever man sins was born. Remember the soul that sinneth shall die? Its not the dead of the flesh, because after sinning, Adam lived 930yrs before dying so it had nothing to do with his flesh.
From then henceforth, any time someone sins, an animal dies in his stead, until Christ came, who will be that scrificial Lamb that needed to die once and for all. No more sacrificing when u sin.
When Christ died, he amended "so to speak" the broken down bridge that seperated Adam from his God. Jesus gave back to man what he lost in the garden. Its called redemption. Jesus bought back what man lost, with his blood.
So being born again is accepting all over again that nature which adam lost. The nature of God which is being alive in the spirit. If u don't have that life, then you r still seperated from God. That's why Jesus is looking for people who will worship him in spirit. If ur spirit is not alive how will u worship God who Himself is a spirit?
