I doubt they will realize their mistakes soon. It may take another generation.

You see, they've already built a wrong system with wrong ideas.

you think so? how?

the previous system was great, why did they abandon it

Yea, it'll take time.

They abandoned it because of money. They felt they needed to produce stuffs that'll sell fast. That's one main reason they started recycling movies. I mean you'd see a story line in up to 6 movies. undecided

It's the same trend our musicians are taking. They want quick money thereby neglecting originality.

just started getting into new-age highlife/ afrobeats last month.

before that I thought anything that wasn't osadebe, rex Lawson, ali chukwuma or just traditional ogene music was pure evil grin

loving ice prince, burna boy, skales, wizkid at the moment

grin grin grin kinda funny. You ar one of those they call old school. I like osadebe, onyeka, sunny ade, oliver de coque, fela and some oldies . But change of environment a lil bit made me lean towards modern-day hip hop , pop songs. Nigerian singers are not bad especially when we wanna groove. Since the contents may not be that deep compared to oldies.

i could type best way to be a successful enterpreneur

Best business to invest on in Nigeria

Best way to please a woman in bed

Real testimonies of heaven and hell

Infact i read virtually everything and thats why i know so much.

yes exactly.

well what made me look further was listening to people like Flavour and Phyno. some of their song lyrics are very meaningful. so I thought to myself hmm; looks like theres something in this

then I found the rest.

at times I cant listen to oldschool because it can be very depressing although I love it. haven't listened to Fela/osadebe/Ali for a while because the tone of their songs makes me feel very said, although I don't understand the lyrics
