What has Hukum and his wife got to do with with Sugni's case? Hukum is not a free caste nor a Landlord,so his own love story is way different from Sugni and Vikrams. Remember, Sugni is trying to break free, not Hukum.

that's the same problem I have with some of these series, like the promise, can u imagine a soap that they started airing as at April or may last year, when I was still in school oo, I don dey serve my father land now oo, the soap is still going on, on televista. what are they still acting, cos pple loose interest due such unnecessary repetirion and enlogation of stuffs. but the plot for the promise is a very wonderful one I must say, buttttttt.

We can't compare Hukum and his wife with Gulabia and Sugni. People are different,my dear. Gulabia could have given away Sugni's hand in marriage to Vikram but his deceit and lies became an obstacle. Like i said earlier on, Vikram caused his problems.
