Thats true you can't date every guy that comes your way. But most waspy ladies playing hard to get out there sends wrong signals that get the guy believing that they were being tested (if you test me, I will fail you). They become angry the more when they lose such guys that used to be their plaything. Their anger is not for lost love, but that of the lost of a worshipper that shows that they don't have the aura or charm of attraction that stuck on the guy anymore. Thats why they get annoyed and obsessed with the mirror.

I am fully aware of a similar situation, but this was about a guy begging a pretty girl for about two years, while the girl played hard to get because she was not sure of her love for him. This was at a University in Nigeria. Well, along the line, she decides to soften up and see if it will work. Guy then almost immediately meets a fresh 100 level lady, begins to date and have sex with her ( guy was a Campus Fellowship Pastor while 100 level girl was made Sister's Leader in her own fellowship). Guy lied all he could about his affair with the 100 level student, while he kept subtly asking the first girl for marriage. He then claimed the first girl refused to do to him ' what lovers do' , while the fresh 100 level 'Sister's Leader' gave him all. Hmmmmm, first girl saw evidence of sex with Sister's Leader - condoms and written notes with 'Pastor'. Few years later, 'Pastor' guy and 100 level sister get married. Not long after, they have a Divorce!!!. 'Pastor' guy is now back to the very first girl who is still single, asking for another chance and marriage. Unfortunately, you can't eat your cake and have it. First girl will never marry a divorcee! People in the house, never rush into a marriage with anyone. Be patient. Avoid sex before marriage because sex is not love. Pre marital sex could blind your sense of reasoning. Staying happily married is better than getting married. God help us all.

If he was not happy with the friend zone, he should have "nicely withdrawn". The guy is not a victim at all.
