If this clipper was use to barb your hair,then you are old

I remember this clipper very well.

Way back in the mid 80's when my father used to carry me and my younger ones inside his peoguote 504GL car to Baba Wasiu barbing saloon shop at Tabon tabon @Agege.

See hw time flies. This thing still be like yesterday. Sometimes this clipper makes me cry expecially if it is not well sharp

Yes I remember the clipper. Lice made my virgin hair uncomfortable and my hair was always barbed with the clipper by mobile barbers back in the early 80's.

Saw the last of its kind in nigeria few mnths ago.

Well, when I started using hair relaxers at 7years in the mid 80's,the lice disappeared. Almost every female with virgin hair had lice in those days. Then we didn't know much about relaxers unlike kids of today who hardly keep virgin hair.


I remember when my mum would apply insecticide(sheltox as it is called) on my hair to kill the lice,tightly covered with shower cap for easy penetration. Omo pesin suffer from lice those days o!

Back then in a haircut saloon in jos terminus main market, my mum do take us there. Good old days.

Yea i used it until around early 90s when the modern clipper circulated everywhere... remembered i use to hv painful rash at d back of my head two days after using it...

My barber used it on me when I was a child. Funny experience I hate to go to his saloon then cos the old man hands were so smelly of akpu I guess. We thank God tech.

Blunt ones used to be painful

Those times out run away from barber's shop That thing will keep pulling your hair, and leave you with headache. Electric clipper was like a magic the first day it was used on me
