A suicide bomber driving a tricycle (Keke Napep), this morning, detonated opposite the state security office in Maiduguri.

Security sources disclosed that the blast, which occurred around 7am, killed one person and the bomber, while four people were injured.

A Twitter user, Yax Mandara, who narrowly escaped the bombing, witnessed the explosion.

Mandara shared the gory details on her page a few hours ago:

My driver just narrowly escaped a bomb blast. Human flesh all over my car. It sent chills down my spine. God thank you 4 keeping us safe

Truth be told, they have been decimated. The prevalence of suicide attacks is indicative of that. These are really soft targets. You have to remember that they did not tke on the military directly. They just bomb people like you and me.

It is time government brushed up its intel unit.

Better be not suggesting anything funny here.

Besides....the North has all these problems because for decades., Northern leaders ignored the problems of illiteracy, joblessness, poverty, and poor judicial systems. Now....Nigeria is reaping the whirlwind(Boko Haram).

Boko can be stopped by Northern governors developing their states as industrial centers of excellence(and getting off oil...because oil is not the money spinner it once was)...and by developing the education system...especially technical and vocational education. Which means more jobs and less people for those Boko Pigeons to recruit.(Indeed this is the most important phase of our war against Boko).

Better make your governors work for you. The oil money is not enough. You have the resources and the people to be greater than America and China....if only you are ready to work. Abandon these conspiracy theories.
