Ogbonnaya Onu from present day Ebonyi state was the first executive governor of Abia state. Dr.Akanu Ibiam was the first and only governor of Eastern region also from Ebonyi and Anyim became senate president and SGF. Op, igbos are marginalised in Nigerian politics. There is no igbo politics, as we don't have a regional government. And igbos don't discriminate at all. Anyim from Ebonyi is about the highest ranking igbo politician, from Senate President to SGF |
