You have to just accept the fact that the girl is a lying thief......simple.....dont play the feminist card here because all your replies smells of it.......okay lets turn the situation around.......say the guy promised the girl marriage and she allowed him to deflower her........after like a year or so of "enjoying himself", he then change his mind........am sure you will be here screaming bloody murder and saying the part of hell the man deserves to go..........the thing is no matter how much the man is willing to spend if you agree to marry him, if he is not your type, then don't agree. Simple as that, case closed......even if he is Dangote himself........"changing ones mind is always a choice"......havent you heard of the saying....."Do not say yes when you mean to say no to avoid much problems and damages"?
