Where is quota system or federal character on this evil appointment that Buhari just made. 4 out of 6 service chiefs appointment went to the North(Housa Fulani) . dont blame folks like Nnamdi Kalu when they shout Biafria Biafra.

I have faith in Buratai and Monguno to reduce Boko haram terrorism to barest minimum cos they're from Borno.

However, another trouble brews in the North Central with the daily genocide being committed by herdsmen against the original occupants of the land (aka Northern minorites). The minorities maybe forced to resort to terrorism/insurgency to defend themselves If GMB doesn't do anything to stop the herdsmen

OK....my tribe has never had president job.

E no dey concern me...what concerns me is how my governor is doing, and how my LG chairman is doing.

Besides.....what benefit does appointing Ibo man as COAS have? What benefit does appointing Yoruba/Tiv/Hausa/Ebira/Ogoni/Yakurr/Zuru/Jukun have? Is it in how the war is fought...or are you looking for appointment/job/share of cash.

You Nigerians.....all of you....go home and get your governors to work for you. And be thankful the new COAS is from Borno....at least he will take Boko seriously...especially as his hone turf is in the mix.

Lets nt be quick to praise this appointments yet.but looking at the background of these new service chiefs and the fact that the chief of army staff is from borno gives cause for optimism.i hope they bring boko haram to its knees.well done mr president

You are right. Rumour had it that PMB was going to appoint a senior Brig Gen or junior Maj Gen as the new COAS and purge out the Maj Gens.

I think he did the right thing, just to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Notwithstanding, the senior officers to the new COAS have to go. Few shall be posted to DHQ, the rest are going home whether or not it's time to go home.

The new COAS is from Borno, I wish the new Chiefs best of luck as they end BH insurgency.
