first of all, I advise you to read a lot of works & books by prominent writers. study their methods & style & use that in carving your niche.
•Also build a colossal vocab pool as you are gonna be working with words.
in order to prevent inhibition or the inability to express yourself coherently a huge language bank is a prerequisite . soldiers work with bayonets & clubs, writers work with words.

before you write any story..a rough sketch[the skeleton] is pivotal.
I usually make sure I know how my story is going to begin & end before I start writing.. even if I don't know what would happen in between..but so long as I have an opener, a closer & a climax, then the rest is history.

you can get inspiration from anywhere. don't wait for it to come to you- leave your comfort zone & start brainstorming.. you'd be surprised at what you would come up with.✘
