Run fast now to the VAC at LEKKI if you are around lagos to do it. Your application submission is not complete without it. You have only added a few extra days to the processing time of you app by this omission. Time is not your friend right now. Run, run, run to VAC immediately with your passport and the other required doc generated during your online application. Best wishes.

i think after going tru some GCMS ill say that they actually follow a queue.
If you tend to recieve news earlier it means the VO handling your case was just fast.
they probably allocate some amount of files to different VOs.
in this case i think the VO handling the may backlogs must have been out of work for sme time due to some reasons....
just saying tho......it doesnt mean if you apply now you wll be on the same queue...

yes oh.its annoying.2 things happend U either approve or delay d person.in all life goes on,instead of delaying nd keeping peeps In suspense.

I spent 5hours at IOM, you'll have to wait in the waiting room before the tests even begin. Just assume you'll be done by 12noon

Are you very far from Lagos ? If I were you and not far from Lagos, I would have traveled in the evening to pass the night in lagos so that I could be at the hospital by 7am latest. The test at IOM Ikeja is said to be very fast and could be concluded within 30 minutes.I will then return to base immediately. You should be able to give you place of work a call by 8.30am that you will be in shortly. That you had to attend to an issue not earlier envisaged. If truancy had not been your habit, your office will understand and bear it with you if you package it well. Do not delay the medical test unnecessarily please.

i recieved both mail too and i tracked it says my processed passport has been collected from VAC on 14/07/2015...though i used courier

Lol 5hours is pretty short though. You can just go around the airport for 3hours, (window)shop, eat, have a quick nap and start getting ready to board an hour before take off. Some flights have overnight layovers oh. You're lucky

So, u think a VO wud handle May alone? A single a day in May can't even be handled by one VO. Am simply not impressed with their handlings and its not becos I was delayed..Pple paid for this services, common..What stops them from re-assigning the rest of VOs to tackle the backlog? Some pple are way passed 9weeks and are sitting waiting for decision..If pple complain, am sure they will get their ass up and deliver!

Y can't they try this stunt with paper application. They know Nigerians will storm that CVAC and disturb the hell outta dem. Now I kinda believe online is not given equal attention as paper
