You really do not need to fund a new bank statement over time. You can transfer the 1.5M naira into a recommended bank account in one transaction.

Get your payslips and also ensure that your salary after tax is reasonable (I feel it should b at least 100K... my opinion though)

And I hope u have identified programs and the school you will be applying to. Also hope u have taken care of the English language test?

thanks, pls check my post again and help me with an answer because I have updated my post and now I have complete post, thanks in advance.

Please friends I want to know more ahead of the time, [1] I am a civil servant, and I want to sponsor myself. [2] My salary account is Diamond , but for the intention of submitting six months bank statement of account, I open Zenith bank saves account which I will not touch till next year July and I will be depositing minimum of 50k per month and I am expecting to have 1.2m through the monthly deposit by June next year and the remaining balance will come through other source that is not my salary account. I open the Zenith bank account with intention of funding the account through inter bank transfer from my Diamond bank salary account to my Zenith bank saves account which I will tender when the time come. HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS; [1] Is it better I include a sponsor or to leave it? [2] Please how will I generate/provide my pay slip and link it up with my zenith bank saves account which I tended to submit when the time come, since government pay directly into our Diamond bank salary account?. pls friends I really need a helping answer toward these my questions, thanks in anticipation.

Question 1....If your salary is at least 100K per month, u don't need a sponsor provided that you have been working for over 2 years.

Question 2 ......You don't need to generate new payslips that you will need to link to a recommended bank (Zenith, Access, GTB). All you need to do is to transfer the 1.5M from your salary account (Diamond bank account) to your recommended bank account statement. When submitting your bank statement you will need to submit 6 months bank statements for both banks including your payslips.

U don't need to worry on that. Once your RP is ready, nothing concern then abt the money again. Even some peeps are here that d Immigration do not ask dem for supplement again. So all what u jst need to do, is to wait for them to grant u ur RP. Once that one is done, the money can be move.

Lol @snail.......actually cow meat dey helsinki, cant say about other places though. There is almost everything, but u gotta spend. Some are crazily expensive e.g. yam (over 6 euros for just one tuber)...so na only once in a year i dey chop am....lol

@cmanforall.....noodles dey. they have theirs...indomie dey african market.

You shld bring stuffs like egusi and ogbono too. Smoked fish and dry pepper also important.

Bring stuffs that would help u minimize ur spending in the first few months. Cos then u will still be converting everything u wanna buy to naira in ur mind. And u will almost not wanna buy anything..... smiley

Cheers!

Mr Kezman/iceberg, HOAS apartments are unfurnished. How much make I budget for furnishing my room? It's a 12.5m2 room. How big is that sef? Big enough for a big bed? I go like get TV sef cos of my playstation. Yes, I be heavy gamer. Also, what do u think about owning a bicycle? My apartment is 2 minutes away from a train station tho. If bicycle go make sense, make I run go learn how to ride am. In addition, I lost my original licence, I have a copy tho. Laminated copy wey FRSC gimme. I drive with it here without issues, any luck over there with it? It's original tho.

Friends, I want to register for IELTS tomorrow, I hope it is academic version I will register for?. I based in Portharcourt and I visited British council last week, I was told that I can either register with #40,000 using my verve/master card or opt for offline registration using bank draft, pls which one is better?. For exam date I plan to choose 26 september as I register tomorrow, and to buy handout copy #4000 from British council here in Portharcourt, I want to know whether preparing myself with only handout alone can assist me in making both the oral and writing exam or do I need any other assistance? pls help.
