This is not a disputed fact......
But we know call for medicals means "we are okay with your application, now go check if you're medically fit"
Any delay or refusal that can come after that should be medically relaated.
Why ask someone to go waste fee for medicals?
That's where I have an issue with....if the medicals were free I wudnt mind..

teesboy:

being asked to go for a medical is still a step in the application process but the assumption has always being that it automatically means your visa is guranteed.
1. Even an already issued visa can still be cancelled by an embassy or High Commission if it has new information/reasons to do so.
2. An Immigration Officer at the port of entry can also refuse you entry into any country if he/she has new information on the screen or other valid reasons to do so as well regardless of a valid visa in your passport. Remember a visa is a privilege not a right until you are actually stamped entry into any country anything could still happen along the way.

This recent refusal after medicals just further buttresses the fact that only the graced scalle over the line...
The difference between a TrV and a delay is just the extra grace.

"I will have mercy on those I will have mercy on"

Just pray harder, fast harder...thats the only way I know to unlock more mercy...

You don't work for grace, but can ask for mercy...

I believe we should just look at our app and and tweak whaat we have to tweak and leave the rest to God.

I agree with you that refusing an applicant for non health related issues after a medical which also cost addtional money is wrong but my earlier post was just to show that even when you have been issued a visa anything can still happen.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 5:03pm On Jul 17, 2015
Well, whatever can happen wud be a rarity.

And with the numbers we have on this issue now, it's not a rarity o...

Now i believe up front medical is the best, reduces this new stories of refusal after medical call.
\
Also think study permit application is best before June, because you see lots of stupid refusal reason when getting tot he end of the year .
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by favour0011: 5:25pm On Jul 17, 2015
The only logical conclusion I can reach from these recent refusals after medicals is that cic had reached its quota for September intakes before sending those medical mails and had rescind the decision after discovering this. I stand to be corrected tho. However, I advice the affected applicants to defer to jan 2016 and refire. Dnt give up cos ur almost there!!

LOL@Upfront medical is the best?Didn't u see that pple with upfront still get called for results cos CIC don't concern themselves with it? And then those that have done it can still get refused either paper or online. There is no statement that guarantees TRV after medicals, so CIC has enough flexible grounds cos of where they stand.

IMO opinion, something somewhere went wrong in maybe cic ghana or cic lagos. this made some applications to be reviewed twice by different VOs. still wondering why may applicants were skipped whyl june applicants where answered. a mix up somewhere. the end result cud be reviewing of some docs twice. just my own idea. in all, leys still give thabks to Jehovah for he knows best

Each application is treated on individual basis and not on some of the funny assumptions made here.

There is a possibility in ur above instance. I believe a quota might have been reached for a province though..So u can't say all who applied wud be refused henceforth. Maybe we shud start stating province on our TRV list..
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by vinegar: 6:27pm On Jul 17, 2015
There's no such things as quota pls....something went wrong...yes...its left for the ppl affected to send them an email and get clarified... Period...

Yes there's quota for every year , even for PR application . last year i read on news Alberta requesting for their PR quota to be increased . SO yes it apply to every application.

Yes there is quota for PR but there is none for visitors, students etc, I think @teesboy suggested that they open a case specific enquiry so that if something is wrong somewhere it can get sorted asap.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 6:38pm On Jul 17, 2015
@kfrosh I'm interested in the letter of introduction...

How much was stated that you earn annually?

Did you state any other thing to buttress your employment situation.
