This is weird! !!, got medical mail July 3rd, my passport was dispatched before stipulated time given for my medicals, got my passport and it was a denial. Purpose of visit, travel history, family times to country n personal asset and financial status was selected, even though I had paid over $7k tuition deposit, added my landed properties and closing personal soa of over 3.9m just for a year PG prog.This is crazy, if they wanna be frustrating Nigerians from schooling in canada, it's high time they made this known!!!

This is really unbecoming! 3 cases within a short time. There is obviously something wrong with CIC's system, but whatever it is, we hope it can be quickly resolved.

As @teesboy suggested, it's imperative that affected persons send case specific email to CIC, in the long run, we will know the reason why this happened.

It's not advisable to assume in this kind of situation, clarity is best sought.

Oga call for ur file....All these hazy rush is what I dont get sometimes..aint u the one that just complained of being called for medical and was refused? Calm down biko...Canada is not heaven..U will still get there if u take ur time..Allow others to go first and prepare ground for u..lol

oh ok..so u av heard from them..So why don't u order for ur gcms file and find out what the issue is? That's my suggestion though..And I was joking abt others preparing ground for u in canada. No offence but you did not inform the house in your prior post that CIC has already replied your enquiries that doing a medical does not guarantee visa issuance. Lets endeavour to give full details so help can be rendered accordingly. Your application was probably reviewed by a more senior consular officer/manager who decided to overturn the decision taken by the VO who treated your application. It is a norm to randomly pick applications for review in visa section of various embassies.

Canada has never had a quota for visitors or students or was there a recent announcement to that effect. Even for a student permit, It is not everyone who applies for a study permit that gets approved.

Here goes my quota theory!!! I remember stating earlier in the year that there must be a quota per year or per province but some people strongly disagreed. It's just the sane thing to do for any organised country...It's called planning!
