No.

Most times it doesn't end well and the men usually takes advantage of it.

Take Yetunde and Baba Tea as a case study.

Not in Nigeria,, girls that express their desire for men are called oloshos.

They are not husband material.
Depends on the man's maturity level. Only kids will view a bold lady as an "Olosho".

Personally, I dont see anything wrong in approaching a man U fancy. It's not like Ur straight up asking for s3xx.. It starts with an introduction..and then U become friends... etc.

That's how I met my man.

Re: Ladies, What's Your Take On This (photo) by Nobody: 8:11am On Jul 21, 2015
I think ladies dont do it here because its not in our custom. An average naija man will look down on such a lady as being too cheap and he will want to play a 'fast game' on her. As for me, there is no big deal in it.

There is nothing wrong in a lady feeling a guy
Knowing who he is
Knowing how he would react to being asked out since she is no stranger to him
Knowing how matured the guy is to understand that she isn't a slut but expressing her mind

To ask the guy out

Approaching a lady inappropriately is wrong too

Message--
You can go for anything in as much you are doing it in good faith and taking the appropriate move and timing!

We have to leave our old cultures behind us and we have to stop living in the past. For the ladies, don't approach a #PlayBoy at your own peril, if you take my advice you will thank me later

Nope. I think it's a good thing, so women can learn what rejection feels like. If more women made the first move, we'd have a well-rounded society.

I don't have it in me to blatantly ask a guy out. I'm too old skool. I'd just show him with my actions that I am. You know, smile at him, talk up a storm, be subtly flirtatious, etc. But to say it to him straight away? Hells to da noh!
Epic.

Absolutely Right. But the woman pride in them will not let most of them. They end up in their parents house for long.

I personally would never listen to any lady that approaches me for a relationship. That's the shortest route to heartbreak. Run bro.

Na so we dey hear. Listen bro, you will fall in love with time and she will leave you when you have fallen.

Let's assume she came to you because you have six packs, then she will definitely leave you when she sees a guy that has six packs and nice beard. grin

Same thing will happen to the other guy when she sees another one that has six packs, nice beard and good sense of humor.

She'll continue like that until she loses them all then she'll go back to beg God for a guy that has just a dick.

I have seen alk bro.

Any girl that has the guts to ask a guy out is a cheat. Simple

And it kills to hear her used the same scope she used on you to woo another guy.
Guys also do these things

I agree with you.

My position is this: most immature guys tend to feel the lady in question is promiscuous for asking them for a date. With that at the back of their minds, they shy-away.

My first girlfriend asked me on a date and while it lasted, I treated her with a whole lot of respect. It was a one time experience and subsequently, I had to make the first moves with other ladies. I think most men made women shy-away from making the first move, although some ladies too are always ego-driven too.
