Well, for nursing in canada, I'll say u finish at NOUN with a 2.1 and above, then apply for Masters in public health or Masters in Health Administration or Masters in genrontology or any other related course, then u can start ur canadian nursing licensing registration once u get ur visa and prep for ur canadian NCLEX. Or u can go for a PGD in any of the nursing courses of ur choice at OMNI college or thru INSCOL Academy. Here, they help u prepare for the NCLEX.
Check google abt midwifery in Canada, really dont knw much abt it.

Cc other nurses on the forum for addition or subtraction
Thanks bro. You've been very helpful. At least, I now know where to start my quest.

I have actually got my ticket already. I'm taking Lufthansa(US$1840). Those who haven't bought their tickets yet might wanna check out prices for return tickets. You might not use it, if you don't intend to come back to Nigeria in the next one year. But still, one way ticket prices are soaring!

I salute your courage bro. The 2 years ban you got was enough punishment. If you deserve more they would have served you. So that ends the previous itch. All developed countries believe strongly in second chance and that is why you aren't banned for life. Your letter of apology and the reference letters should be enough but no for sure that your application this time around will be closely scrutinized to ensure you are no longer 'Maradona'. Therefore you must make sure every document you are submitting is from you and verified by you before submission. In order words 'NO TO MAPLE! AND NO TO AGENTS'.

I will advice you share your documents before submitting for the GOD's TRV anointed gurus to examine and comment. i.e your dad and company's SOA balance. Recent trend have shown that company SOA with deficit inflow i.e frequent debit and infrequent credit is not TRV friendly.

Lastly, you should swear an affidavit in a court of law highlighting that all documents are genuine and that your return back to Nigeria is guaranteed. Your SOP should really be strong stating the reason why you must study in Canada and not here in Naija because your history smells DESPERATION.

It will surely end in Praise.
Thanks for the advise bro. Will do just as you said

Hello house pls I need clarifications on this question from the online questionnaire.

"Have you visited or lived in any one of the designated countries for 6 consecutive months in the last year? Yes or No?"

I actually chose YES but I wana be sure I'm right.

Btw I would also like to know the point at which I would decide if I wana do upfront medicals or not.

Thank you all. cheesy

Can anyone recommend me ,cheap English schools in Canada ?.
My wife is a Japanese , it possible to package me and her with English language course ?. If she apply most she present an English test result ? Please help .,, thanks and. God bless you all ..

ENGLISH as a second language costs about 5000 CAD at Niagara college.

am nt sure if she needs to write any English exam if it just for the sake of accompanying you.

but if her intentions are to work and school she would need an English assessment exam

From experience, don't try to impress the V.O by quoting high figures, just calculate a realistic minimum amount required for ur tuition, books and supplies, accommodation and feeding, with miscellaneous expenses too. If possible you can design a budget for each year, and breakdown the huge money your sponsor will be giving you yearly and include such budget in your application. So your sponsor would make reference to that budget in his sponsorship letter. Eg "to further evidence my sponsorship claims for MR Kumo, I'm attaching my personal up to date statement of account and an annual budget for a period of 4 years....." night don do abeg, my head don dey shutdown! But I hope u undy my point. I made a similar mistake last year when going to the UK, I wanted to impress the V.O, so I quoted a huge sum, unfortunately my statement didn't cover the said amount, so I was refused visa. I reapplied, but cut down the cost to the barest minimum, such that my sponsor's statement could conveniently cover it, and I was granted the visa.
