People in the House.Na so i was invited to one Naming ceremony today ohh..On getting there i got to know the work being done by the Father of the Baby..He is a so called Agent of Darkness that called himself Visa Agent..In fact sef them get company with him being the Deputy chairman or something..Now this is the main gist.They are majorly into US and other countries visa..The Funniest part of it was when my friend told me they so-called Company charges 650,000naira for US Visa..I was like WTF..He said,You would come and pay them after you might have being issued visa..And that they no dey collect money ahead..Then i told him something,You mean i should go and collect Visa with my own Luck and bring you 650,000naira just like that?OMG..My friend already knows about Nairaland,i had to remember him about Nairaland and this thread..I told him na there people dey receive Visa's like Pure-water...Then i told him,in this generation of ours,if someone can still charge you unnecessarily for something you can do yourself,then you are nothing but a Big Fool..Too bad

Likewise we have people that complicate issues, not ready to help others at all. For instance, there was a question sent to this forum yestade about the meaning of I-20; a reply was given by someone that the meaning of I-20 is I into twenty times. The person was even asked to start counting now until he/she gets to twenty. What is the meaning of that? I think a kind of instance like this may prompt a new comer or a responsible person to think otherwise. Most of the people that sent private contact may fall into these categories. SantaClause; u are a good observant, good job to the gurus in this forum, too much respect but to be sincere those that could not help others to learn or gain from them should pls don't DISCOURAGE serious and determined people. I believed this forum is created to help people and there have been testimonies here and there, we should continue with these good testimonies here. We get more when we share what we have.

A Form I-20 is a government form that tells the U.S. government that you are eligible for F-1 Student Status. It certifies that
(1) you are or expect to be a "bona fide" student
2) you meet the American Educational Institute's admissions requirements
(3) you will pursue a full course of study
(4) you proved to the college/university that you have enough money to study and live in the U.S. without working illegally or suffering from poverty.

The i-20 is sent to you by the university/college you have been accepted at. You need this form to apply for the student visa.
