Funny how you don't wish to learn by not going out of the box. To be learned and enlightened, you have to read far and wide regardless of who wrote what book, the author's gender or race. What's funnier is, I'm not a moslem....Thanks philosopy: |

so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. It is the generation that see those events, not the disciples generation. |

You may all find this difficult to believe but he is never coming back, its just the twist they had wanted every christen to believe. All the prophet has been sent with each of them with their lessons and warnings(Prophet Moses nd Israel,Prophet Noah and his Son, Sodom nd Gomorah, Abraham his son and wives, Prophet Adam nd his wife) just to mention a few) do you mean Prophet Issa(Jesus christ) is coming to witness the last day of destruction of the world, do you mean he is going to have to suffer on the last day, am sorry it will never happen. The coming of Jesus is just what they had led many to believe in order to survive. Its a lie far from truth |

JESUS CHRIST is NOT coming back again. The coming of JESUS CHRIST means when a Christain dies. No one knows when he /she will die, that is why its is good to do good things and prepare yourself very well because death can come any time and any where. Even if u did good and died and there are no heaven and hell, you will lose anything because you will be remembered on earth for all the good things you did. |

@Reiyvinn: well, from what I read from your post, it seems you are living in doubt already about the existence of God(Jesus). Take a look at what you are debating about, if Jesus is really going to come. If you are truly a Christian, I.2 a born again child of God, you must stay loyal and faithful to the end. He(Jesus) already said he'd come back again and HIS word is life unto them that believe. Go to your Bible and open your heart to receive and not question. There are somethings better left unquestioned. You said in you previous post awhile ago that you were questioning or wondering about God, really? Anyone who is trying to understand or see God is as good or as bad as death. We as Christians believe HE is coming back again. And till that Glorious day comes, we must be watchful, vigilante, faithful and stay Loyal for the return of the KING. You when one isn't loyal to the king, that's treason, as you asking all this doubting question, your in that line of treason son! If your an artheist I'd understand but I pray God helps you through whatever your going through. Be safe. |

Firstly Mr op nice article but u must understand that Christianity is a Faithful work with Christ u must also know that the bible says that "Faith is the substance of thing hoped for(heaven ) the evidence of thing not seen.Hebrew 11:1. moreso,Mk13:32 -34says no one knows the day hour or when Christ shall come only God the father knows. So it is not a failed prophesy but a thing that only the creator knows that's why Jesus said Matt 24:44 Jesus therefore encourages us to be ever ready cos we know not the time. but when a man dies his time has but come that's why the scriptures say "it is appointed unto man once to die after which judgement sets in". so leave ready Jesus shall yet come |

Catholics predicted the 2nd coming of Christ several times... Jehovah's witnesses predicted the end of days 5 times and still nothing... A lot of times we are stuck in - "I must believe". PS: Just like the hell campaigners, when I ask them this question, what happens to Generations that never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus, do they get automatic heaven or do they go straight to hell? ... There is usually a look of confusion when I ask them that question. |

Jesus was trying to tell them that some of them will see of his glory while he was still alive, check Matthew 17vs1-4 |

My brother in d lord, it takes God's spirit to interprete bible passages. In Matthew 16:28, d "THERE ARE SOME STANDING HERE" in dat bible passage wasnt actually refering to d people of Jesus' time but THOSE WHO WOULD BE "HERE" on "EARTH" at d time of His 2nd coming. This also applicable to Mark 13:30, "THIS GENERATION" in d passage also refering to d GENERATION that will witness d 2nd coming of Jesus Christ NOT Jesus' time generation |

The Isrealites whom God called "His Own People" do not even believe in Jesus. They see him as a criminal who tried to go against their religion. Today Israel practice Judaism. They dont believe in all these hell-fire mumbo jumbo. Are we now saying that christianity is the "only" way to God? Meaning that all muslims, buddhists, hindhus, taoist, jains, judaism adherent and others are all wasting their time? Inshort, I tire for religion sef. |

Jesus is surely coming again. It is never a failed prophecy but a postponed prophecy. God in his infinite wisdom and omnipotence know the best time Jesus should come. It is only delayed but it will surely come to fulfilment. His coming is imminent and it will be sudden. It will meet so many people unaware and when it happens, it will be too late for doubters to make any amendments. |

@reiyvinn @atlantian It is good to read from people like you. You can both see how religion's teachings cannot really give clarity with respect to divine proclamations. Your spirits are now seeking for answers. And indeed there are perfect and logical answers to your very important questions. The Word of Truth which is a continuation and a consolidation of the TRUE teachings of Jesus is now available on earth. If you are fortunate to come across it, then all the things you are now asking and the ones you are yet to ask will be clear to you. Reject all blind faith and teachings. I am going to give answers to your questions @reiyvinn in a manner different from what others have been stating here because I am going to draw from this Word of Truth and not from the source of the controversy. What you then make of it is left to the dictate of your spirit which will always sense the truth in an un-biased state. Let me first give clarity to the words you quoted :- ". . .this generation will by no means pass away until these things happen. . ." The Lord Jesus in His divine wisdom and His clairvoyant capabilities was actually talking about The Pisces generation (age). Jesus came to earth during the Pisces age and he was telling his followers that the apocalypse MUST come to pass before the new age of Aquarius will begin. There are twelve ages in the Time of our universe. The Pisces age symbolized by a FISH is one of the ages. Each age span over 2160 years. The age of Pisces is about to complete and the apocalypses as foretold by Jesus and by many prophets will come to pass. The next generation (the age of Aquarius) will be the period when a model kingdom of God will be established on earth under the leadership of the Son of Man. Any wonder, fish was made reference to alot during Jesus' time? "Truly I say to you that there are some of those standing here that will not taste death at all until they see the Son of man coming in His Kingdom." Our Lord, the reedemer, Jesus was talking about the last grace that will be permitted to many people who lived during his time then to come back to atone or to serve the son of man in this present time. Physical death is different from Spiritual death. The lord was referring to spiritual death because he knew that physical death is just a temporary phenominum in the entire journey of a human being. None of us living on earth right now is a stranger to this earth. Amongst us today are those who lived during the time of Jesus. Even though they are in another human bodies and perhaps in different countries, and they are not even aware of their past, they are still the same spirits who lived on earth during the time of Jesus. Spirits who however fails in the coming final judgment will experience spiritual death, which is a one off event. Such a spirit will then revert back to being a spirit seed after years of severe and painful dis-integration, a terrible fate to befall a spirit that started his journey several millions of years ago. Many people died physically yet they came back to life, that should tell us that physical death is definately not the end of life. And as for spirits coming back in different bodies, Jesus Himself told us that John the baptist was Elijah. The spirit who wore the body of John during the time of Jesus was the same who used the body of Elijah. Do not listen to wiseacres who definately cannot be wiser than Jesus. Re-incarnation is a reality. Even the natives are aware of this fact until the false interpreters of divine teachings came. They distorted many things that is the reason why there are so many confusion today. Only re-incarnation can explain the differences in destinies. Our pasts are responsible for our present and our present will be responsible for our future. However, our time is almost up! the future is either spiritual death or spiritual bliss for the goats and the sheep respectively. As for the exact day, no man knows, only God and His 2 Sons knows. As for your main question:- The link below should be sufficient enough. The coming of the Messiah is nearer and it is a reality. I wish you the grace needed to make it. https://www.nairaland.com/2462151/vision-imminent-judgement-earth-must The word of Jesus will surely come to pass. |

Op, is that not what faith in Christendom essentially represents? - to believe in Him even when there isn't a physical reason to. Or, better still, did you personally seek Him devoutly and convincingly and He still couldn't show u a sign, at the very least? Why are you trying to sow seeds of misgiving and dismay (and doing it "perfectly" with the ability to play on words) in the hearts of God's people? "To whose benefit?", I wonder. If you are that tired, and can't seem to wait it out for His second coming, why not consider dying, already? And let those who are given to having faith in Him, while striving to do His will do the "worrying". |

My question is, how much pain, suffering, loss and mishaps must mankind endure before the end comes ? Is suffering just for the sake of it and why can it not end now ?? What about 80% of mankind who are not expecting a second coming, was it intentional to keep them in doubt and then catch them by surprise ? And for those who keep saying use the Holy Spirit, is this not the easiest way out of matters beyond your comprehension ? While I still harbour hope that one day God will make things anew , it is very confusing that no end or respite seems to be in sight at the present for the plight of mankind. |
