What's grammatically wrong in Thronekid's "56 rainy seasons ago..." statement is the use of the number 56.

In writing, when a number starts a sentence, the number should be written in words. So, it should rather be:

"Fifty-six rainy seasons ago..."

It can be no other than a maleficent horizontally propelled current of gaseous matter whose propentous advent is not the harbinger of a modicum of beneficence.

I can't remember where I got the but I wrote them down ...More coming soon

Okay, without google lemme try.

You are asking....
is that the fire service officer?
Please with unchanging forward movemement, and immediate response, report here because fire is spreading through your house.

Right?

Do you not stipulate that the utilization of such grandiloquent dialog impedes the success of rudimentary comprehension, encourages rampant obfuscation, and is the antithesis of social intercourse? Meaning: Don't you think using unnecessarily large or rare words reduces people's ability to understand what your talking about and just clouds the situation?

Keep it simple. Concise. Clear. That's the work ethics of the fire service.

But this thread is about words that make one a learner.

Naaaa.
If you observe, you'd notice my posting tempo has reduced greatly.

I only talk these days because there are mentions I can't ignore or perchance on a topic I happened to meet on Pg 0 on FP.

I haven't been updating my book journal thread either.

Some days are like that.
