Sorry to learn about your delay but you've to be careful about rushing to reapply. If you just had a baby, you'll need to have sufficient funds in your husband's account to cover your fees, living expenses while leaving enough to cater for his needs and that of your children. Ojekkk: |

Graviton2:It's true that they share immigration data. Especially between US, UK and Canada. I got to know this when I was processing my migrant visa. |

It feels so sad reading about the recent delays after medicals, and most painfully, after medicals passed... But it still points out to the fact that you are closer than where you were yesterday. I really admire the the encouragement those affected gave to themselves in the face of the whole stuff cos one is always in the best position to console/motivate himself/herself when faced with certain circumstances in life. Never give up, you'll surely arrive at your destiny if it's the will of God. It can only be delayed but can never be changed. In other words, Monday is a public holiday in Canada (don't know if it's Canada wide or only Ontario)... I'm not really sure if CIC will work on that day. Someone could verify. Have a nice weekend guys and a blessed new month... |

Dear NLders, you cannot commit crime or overstay in the US and expect to get a Canadian visa, even if you get a brand new passport. It won't happen unless you address the issue. There's no way they won't share information. Forget about what they tell you. I even read somewhere at IOM that personal info won't be released but other countries can access your medical result if need be cos it's on a database. I'll like to think that you're well-travelled so you should know that these countries will do every and anything possible to control the kind of people that get into their country. The Globe and Mail is a credible source so the link Soj posted is sufficient to let this thing die until you come up with a more authentic one that proves otherwise. Don't believe everything the government tells you, they ain't loyal to you or even their citizens. They are loyal to themselves alone. Even if they write that they won't share personal info from your application form, best believe the will, to confirm that you're not fraudulent or dangerous. Remember Nigeria is a terrorist country **Edit** @gravition2 I see that you have accepted the fact. It's okay to be wrong and accept that you are which you finally did. Your first posts on this issue were just ridiculous, I respect how confident you still were and how adamantly you stood by your belief and how "gba je n sinmi-ly" you accepted that you were wrong.. Cheers Graviton2: |

thesoj: SeraSera: two of you will come back to this same argument next year, its yearly thing here is travel section.Somebody who wants to circumvent the system will bring it up just to be sure that he will not be caught then people who wants to do the same or people who have done it will spring up to assure him that US and Canada don't share info. |

Good morning and Happy New Month to you all. Thankful to Almighty God for successful TRV application. Applied Online - May 21 Biometrics- May 28 Medical Call - July 15 Medical Done - July 20 , Passed July 22 Passport request and submitted - July 23 Passport collected - July 31 Docs submitted Application form, Family info, schedule 1 form Admission letter from USask Medical Request form Scanned data page of passport (showing previous travels too) Passport photograph Proof of funding (Full International student Funding letter from the Uni, and 4k USD SOA from my domiciliary account) 5 page SOP detailing almost all info (career, education, family ties, why the school and course, why canada, why Usask, etc) Bsc Certificate, University transcript Letter of study leave from employer (stating continuous payment of salary for one year, valued at 1k CAD per month) Letter of Commendation from international organizations and companies (UN, et all) for consultations and job satisfactorily done for them in the past Proof of all University Awards at the Undergrad level (all related to my proposed study) That was about all I think.
