Spyder, please I need some help here. I am trying to fence a plot of land in Lekki that I have already sandfilled. The plot is 18.3m by 37m. One of the sides (37m) is already done by my neighbor. As such I just need to fence back and front (18.3m) and one side (37m). I was told that because of the sandfilling the foundation will have to be 1.2m at the rear and 0.9m in front while the blockwall will be 2.4m high. The person I spoke to also said the foundation will have to be T-base (0.15m wide). Is there a way I can reasonably estimate how much this is going to cost? I am not on ground presently and will like to benchmark costs

Oga Spyder.. please tell me:

1. How many days for the formwork (carpentry) of this decking and how many Carpenters?
2. How many days for the ironwork and how many iron-benders?
3. I know the concrete pouring takes same day; but how many manpower/womanpower (Labor) is required?

Note: As we have earlier discussed. I have got only two weeks to spare, trying to see if can be accomplished in that time frame.
This may not be a good comparison, but you know what I am trying to compare... (About half of this project).

Thank you.

With 2 weeks , a normal decking process could be completed. But I always like to drag it to 3 weeks to be sure I supervise every detail. If I am 100% available in a site and its half of this size as you say, I will supply wood and then move 4 carpenters onto the house. The wood work will take them 3 days to complete, then I move in iron workers on the 4th day with full materials, they spend another 3 days doing the beam and throwing and tying the mat. The electrician comes along and props his biscuits as he inserts the pipes underneath the mat.
The plumber can overlap with the electrician as well as iron workers spending a 4th day returning the mat. The carpenters has to come back and seal the boards, while everyone does a final check for the remaining days. For me, I will be looking hard for faults.
The last day of their work is when I make final arrangements for the cast of the deck. It tames a day for most small houses, and two days for larger buildings.

In summary, 4 workers X 10 days for an average cast.
