A self acclaimed man of god, whose church got demolished (reasons not too clear to me), turned his house to a place of worship. He mounted these loud speakers at strategic locations and as early as 5am and late into the night he is already disturbing the neighbour-hood.

I wonder why some people have no regard for others. Those of us who approached him to reduce the level of noise are now his enemies.

If you find an answer to this question, then then have found the answer to the greatest evils that have been afflicting mankind since creation... Why do people kill others, why do people lie against others and put them down, why don't people share with others even though they have more than enough, etc etc?

Having no regard for others is a form of perversity on itself, and far too many human beings are guilty of this. It defies any rational explanation.

There can't possibly be any rational explanation for a supposedly sane individual putting up loud speakers to disturb the peace of his entire neighbourhood. It is understandable if this happens periodically, say a party or some sort of occasional merriment. But doing this everyday without any sort of sensitivity to the feelings or wellbeing of others takes some degree of evil mindedness and fanaticism (assuming we have ruled out outright insanity).

Deviating from the elitist and isolationist philosophies of the APC, Mr. Ambode is fast gaining prominence as a socialist who understands the diverse and yet unique needs of a multi-cultural city like Lagos.

I love the policies I see him implementing so far and I must say this is a man who desires to unite all.

LASEPA carried out the same operation times uncountable under the previous administration so what's the difference here?

Only the elites drive on the roads and bridges built by the previous governor? Only the elites sends their kids to the schools built by the previous governor? Only the elites attend the 30 skills centers built by the previous governor? Only the elites live in the countless housing estates built by the previous governor? Only the elites drink water from the 15 water works built by the previous governor?


Sometimes I wonder why many of you come up with these ridiculous and absurd claims and assertions..

Dis reminds me of one man that has been begging one pentecostal church like dat say dem dey disturb him with too much noise, the pastors maintained a deaf ear with excuse that they are not in his property.




This man went and bought 6 mega speakers ,mounted it by the front of his gate, then anytime the church start dere own, this man will play sharp hip hop and RnB's collections @ the highest volume.

The church come begin beg, say the pastor sef no de hear himself as him de preach talk more of the congregation.

The simply reminded them that he is not in their property.

Up till today, those speakers still dey dere, the man even built an iron caged shelter for the speakers to protect them from both rain and too much sun.

This same story happened at Okitipupa in Ondo state between a C/S church and Alhaji Sule.....the church are always organizing revivals over revivals.

They disturb the peace of both the peace-lovers and violence-lover of that street with their non-stop songs which are coming from upto 5 different igbo-made speakers that were hung at the 4 square of the church.

Alhaji Sule went to purchase 2 london use highest voltage speakers and mounted them directly opposite to the choirs dept of the church...

Ehen, nice one {not about Kanu's hotel getting shut}, but to the fact that we have a body to stop all these noise in the neighbourhood. Please can anyone give me the contact number or email for LASEP? There is this man who owns a shop where musical cd's are being sold. He has two gigantic speakers which he uses to disturb the peace. I cannot hear my tv programmes, talkless of relaxing. And worse is he closes by 10pm. How does one rest after the day's work? Please someone should help me with their number biko
