Those who got regret mails also got assessment feedbacks. And there's nothing wrong in people trying to be sure of what the mail really meant. From asking questions on here you can be sure that more than a few people have been reassured. In these days when recruiters have mastered the double-speak, couching regret mails in the finest words one can never be too sure. Your post just assumed that people wouldn't know to read the attached PDF, that's what I was calling out. Best of luck.

Speaking of the assessment, a friend's feedback was quite good, yet he got a negative mail. Or did they feel he answered so accurately and wasn't being sincere?

You could have passed your earlier message in a more appealing way.

Everybody got assessment feedback mail with the attachment even those that got regret notification after the OPQ.

Please which role did u apply for?, is it supply?

quote author=SerPounce post=36571261]

Got this after concluding the tests:

Thank you. You will shortly receive a feedback report that will outline how you did in these assessments and help you get to know yourself a bit better!

Thanks for taking the time to fill out the online assessment and we look forward to speaking to you soon.

Diageo

Don't know if that counts as qualification or otherwise at this point. Did everyone else get this?[/quote]

Not everyone, some persons got the negative version after the OPQ.

Why are u guys getting it twisted. That mail is the fist to come after submitting. Then the other one which u guys are calling negative is the second to follow with ur personality report. That's not a negative mail. The mail clearly states dat u will use dis repport in the future in THIS RECRUITMENT or others. Which means ur stilll in the race pending further feedback. Everyone got thesame mail so does it mean everyone failed. No matter how sugar coated, that's not what a regret mail looks like. If u wanna speculate whether ur still in or not, the content of the pdf feedback should be a better pointer and not the entire body of the mail.

To think I already concluded it was their version of regret mail...I just hope you are right. I just got my report and I think the feedback was fairly ohkk...you have an idea of what we should expect next?

Yes everybody got the same mail.

But some people got a regret acknowledgment immediately they finished the test.

Others got an acknowledgment which ended with something like 'we look forward to speaking with you soon'. Those that got regret notification didn't get this.
Everybody got the same mail tho.

Do u hv an idea on the contents of the regret mail? To the best of my knowledge "the we look forward to speaking with u" was a notification that popped on the screen before they sent the personality feedback. Am I wrong?

Quite the contrary man. But a little advise here! If you are feeling guilty! I think that is enough indication for you not to apply!
