Well...for your information, apart from the fact that I attend the church, I offered a course on it. The church was first made with thatched roof and you can expect it to still be built with thatched roof.

Nice question. On December 25, 1842, Thomas B. Freeman and Henry Townsend just had joint Eucharist in Badadry. Due to the fact that the people of Badagry were not receptive, the moved to Abeokuta. Besides, it was the returnees from Sierra Leone, called the Creoles, that requested for missionaries from Sierra Leone because they felt spiritually empty and dry. See B. A. Adeyanju, "The Creoles and the Gospel in Nigeria" (2014).

Not at all. The Niger Mission which brought about all those came later on through Thomas Fowell Buxton, Prince Albert, Ajayi Crowther, J.C. Taylor etc

don't be ignorant! Christianity got to those places through the Niger Mission and Samuel Ajayi Crowther who played a prominent role there was first at Ake where he reunited and baptized his mother after 25years of separation by slavery.
