It would be okay for him to appoint all his ministers from one village if all the 36 states and the FCT is one village but they are not so he can't and shouldn't. Section 147 (3) of the 1999 Constitution of the FRN makes it mandatory for at least one minister to be appointed from each state provided the appointee is an indigine of the state.
Instead of justifying his nepotic appointments, the likes of Utomi should advice him to search through the state for the best mind.

I would what him to point to any where in the globe, where it has been possible that all appointments were made from a particular ethnic group, a state or an area. Under normal circumstance, a professor is an individual who have acquired greater heights in every areas but in Nigeria, almost all the professors are carrying with them very bad and disapointing brains. If Buhari does that, every other areas will be left out. In the same vein, when others takes over power, he will also do the same. Politically let us analyze this. The entire South-East cannot win an election in Nigeria, hence they must align to mop up votes. If another election is held today, Buhari will win the election. The south-east must quit this wailing situation and re-strategise on exerting their identity politically.

The issue of the North being dominant in the political sphere is as a result of other ethnic groups not being able to, collectively, vacate the circle of feeling being marginalised and express themselves.
