I don't intend growing the catfish till it get to 2kg each. I will only train them for 3-4 months before selling them out immediately. Well I may wish to select few to outgrow them in a selected pond, but will definately reduce them their number in the pond. Thanks a lot

I don't know if this info is coming in late but I feel ur 10x10 ponds are small compared to the land size and also are u aware that that size can only take 500 table size comfortably? If u already know so then ride on boss

I told him same but he wouldn't listen so I kept mute
Now he said 2kg, ama come in again
Except u want to do melange which is far below 1kg, then I still maintain u reduce the quantity

My able Apitch, I said I will not allow the fish to reach 2kg before selling. Am only targeting 1kg per fish. Withing 3-4 months, I will achieve it with proper management. Thanks.

1. Site clearing
2. Pond pegging and digging
3. Moulding of 9 inch. Concrete block.

Pls I thought earthing pond is better than concrete pond? Am not sure,that y am asking. Just learn during my NYSC

Why all the stress of digging and building, when you can have big tank bought that can contain close to 1000 pcs of big cat fish.

Am just here to look at the big parcel of fenced land. When you hear acquisition! Tomorrow when that area develop, El rufia go say na government own.

Earthen pond is better than concrete ponds base on some factors. Earth pond has supplimentary feeds like adequate zooplanktons which will reduce the amount of feed given to them. Adequate planktons are also available which provide deplited oxygen for respiration. But concrete ponds also have their advantages over earthen ponds.
