I am currently in the process of completing the construction of 7 fish ponds. 6 of the ponds are 10ft by 12ft while the last one is 8ft by 12ft. The depth is 4ft 5inches Materials used includes: 1 trip of sharp sand 1 trip of plastering sand 15 ton truck of granite 1000 9inches hollow blocks 70 bags of cement Iron rods woods plumbing materials 6 Likes 4 Shares |

Placing iron rod at all the edges and casting the base. It is quite important to tie a V- shape iron rod and cast all the edges to prevent water from exerting pressure on those edges. 1 Share

Leveling of the floor and ramming it. It is very important to ram the floor especially the Parts closed to the walls to make it firm after casting to prevent it from caving in due to water pressure.

dboss444: It is true the price of fish feed has gone up, also the price of 1kg fish has increased from N500 to N650- N700, so the price of fish balance the increase in the cost of feed which means the biz is still profitable. You can also pelette your own feed in other to reduce cost spent on feeds. 11 Likes |
