I think she means of one doesn't believe in equality, then they believe in inequality.

Thank you very much kimoni for your replies so far. We learn everyday.
I am learning from you too ma'am. Thanks for educating me also.
Please what is your definition of submission?
I started with this actually. Remember my initial post on this topic here, it sums up my beliefs about submission.

You have just answered the question for me about equality. The fundamental belief that binds all those who believe in equality is the same. Whatever people decide to take or add to the meaning of equality is left to them
And what's the fundamental belief? Everything in the world should be shared equally? thats the most practical definition I can think of.

We are all not married to same husbands so what is the point of discussing and discussing what we will never agree on?

If A believes she is inferior to her husband and they are happy;
If B believes she is equal to her husband and they are happy;
If C believes she is superior to her husband and they are happy,

All join.

Given up on submission and gender equality in terms of marriage a long time ago

In as much as we try to express our views about this matter..we all know in reality it is opposite..

Especially here in nigeria,when you marry someone,you automatically marries the person family too...

My advice to all the singles here,pray you find that someone that agree with you on your stands regarding submission in marriage and gender equality...
Re: Girls night out discussions by Nobody: 11:57pm On Aug 07, 2015
[b]That reminds me,since this thread mostly compasses single's matured women..

I want your views concerning this issue

There is a lady just opposite our compound here in my estate,for some reasons she is married yet,but the compound and house which she resides in was purchased by one certain man...for some reasons the man is married,living in another compound with his wife and children ,so it seems the man promise this lady marriage,and this lady says she can't wait any longer,that the man keeps on postponing. The marriage,and this certain lady goes to club like club her cocaine that keeps her alive ,so many people have whispered to the man concerning this woman wayward life,so she changed tactics,she stopped taking her car with her,instead hire a cab that will always pick her up and drop her back, so my question now is that...as a woman,would you advice the man,supposing he his your brother,to go ahead with the marriage,is it morally right,considering her wayward and carefree life,clubbing,taking of alcohol,hustling etc...would you advice someone close to you to marry such woman.....

Imagine this!

So Bukky, they drove / sent you lot packing on the grounds that you lot aren't intellectually capable to hold down an intelligent conversation with them - and instead of holding your ground and proving them wrong, you hightail, with your tails firmly tucked between your legs, and meekly (submissively) oblige...only to come here to talk knitting / boy-friend saga / idle, non-substantive, female chit-chat??

I feel sooooooooo insulted. sad Infact, c'man take ma name off that your list jare. angry angry
