SaharaReporters has exclusively received shocking photos of a Nigeria Police Force officer in Lagos wildly intoxicated in public. SaharaReporters does not yet know the identify of the police officer, but the photos reveal his first name is Aminu.The embarrassment took place in the Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos, according to one source. One citizen speaking with SaharaReporters confirmed that the officer was drunk.

The images show Aminu being tended to by another police officer from the Nigeria Police Mobile Force while a crowd of onlookers gathered around the belligerent law enforcement officer. He is struggling to hold himself upright, and at one point needing to be held up by the responding officer and citizens.

According to one of the onlookers, the scene “was a shame to the Nigerian police.” This same source said that this incident happened on Friday, after the Jummah prayers.
