Babe calm down first. We all know Nigeria, if there are two people facing the same problems and you solve the problem of one, the second person is going to scream tribe and bullcrap like that.

I did say I like this move but we also need to spread it to other areas and not limit it to Ogoni-land but the whole place else people will wake up to say he is using "Divide and rule"
Your point is evidently clear but like I said before Ogoni's case is absolutely different, loud and the whole of ND know that.

Do not forget this is a land that lost 9 of their prominent men including the great Kenule Saro Wiwa to the struggle to liberate their suffering kindred from environmental degradation by these IOCs. A case of divide and rule will never arise here.

I do not even want pointless praises and all those pictures threads on the president but creating useless criticism threads makes one seem perpetually dumb.

The presidency have so far reacted positively to sensible criticisms which is a hallmark of a government geared towards working for the people and not one cocooned by some self serving sycophants.
The picture threads are unfortunately unavoidable. They are a result of advancement in technology which has made it nearly impossible for any govt action to go unnoticed or uncaptured.

I am more than ready to criticize the govt if and when any unpopular steps are taken. This is what we all should be ready to do in order to help the govt and ourselves. Not a thread a day which lacks substance but only serves selfish interest of such thread owners.

Anyway, it's so far so good for PMB.

This is another sucker for Ogoni people. Ogoni does not need a political cleanup but for Bori to be transformed into cities such as Lagos/Ikeja and Abuja. Is it abominable endeavor for Bori to be upgraded to standard of Lagos or Abuja. It was the federal government the built Lagos and Abuja from the resources uprooted from Ogoni land.
You have nothing to say. Why didn't Jonathan do the transformation? The drunk never did anything in the Niger Delta. At the twilight of his tenure, after losing his re-election bid, he moved a project sited in Lagos State to his home state of Bayelsa, giving his people the impression that he meant well for them.

Shame on Igbos who tried all their tribal and sentimental gimmicks in their disposal, in the last couple of months to use Niger delta(SS) to fight their war; cowards.

SS people saw through this and dealt with d whole situation in such a way that Igbos are now hiding their heads in shame.

Well done to SS people and of course Mr president.

No YOU calm down!
Of course he wil spread the good work around! Haven't you heard of the word "priority"? that's the way smart people classify and handle their problems. Buhari is approaching each issue according to importance and urgency.
Kindly allow him! By 2018 we will start compiling all his scores to know wether he has passed or failed for 2019. But for now, allow him do his tests and homework how he deems fit.

I expected a serious tongue lash for that stewpid action from our people but obviously the mourning was still very fresh as at then. For me, the only visible commendable project GEJ did in the ND is the maritime university in the creeks of Delta state.

Don't mind the chief wailer. Expecting the clean up to start two days after the directive from Buhari, is like saying Julius Berger swung into action, without soil test, in the construction of the Second Niger Bridge.

I am saying if we do for one and over-blow it we stand the risk of having the other tribes becoming more embittered. You people should realize this and see the problems with this country where you do for one and the others start a hate campaign.

You must have missed where I said it is a good start but we must consolidate on it and extend it to others before people start shouting "Hr favors the Ogonis and hates others"

You guys act like you don't know how Nigerians think when it comes to tribe.
Sorry but I still don't see how it's bad to praise a good decision. Praising such decisions will only help the govt to do more. No other alternative explanations.

And I don't see how any other grp can use this to blackmail the govt. It is the genuineness of each demand that will determine how the govt responds.

I advise you be yourself pal.

you do realize this is what I wrote right?

A step in the right direction is all this is but if not reciprocated everywhere, it becomes too political, makes it seem cosmetic and gives people the impression of you using divide and rule.
I did not say it is a case of divide and rule, I said people will get the impression that it is divide and rule.

Of course pictures are unavoidable in this present time that even POTUS had to have a customized selfie stick. My only ish is creating uncountable threads here with them for comments making it seem as if they are achievements. They do very well on Twitter.

Are you aware that some other stakeholders will contribute too and that the $10 million is just the initial take off fund?
Also remember that this is a project that may last for up to three years. So, why should the whole money be available at once?

*sighs* I hate going back and forth. Read this and try to understand the emboldened part.

Now the emboldened says that although the present administration might not be using divide and rule, it does not stop people from reading it to mean they are. Before we know it, some trouble maker will get on a stage and say "The president loves the Ogonis but hate you Ennogs" and that's it. The impression will be set

When OBJ got angry at us for rejecting his 3rd term bid he gave us a sick YarAdua and a clueless Jonathan. All Jonathan's last minutes hire and fire, many dumb actions aimed at creating bad blood including appointing a Sanusi to the head of NPA were his own version of OBJ's. Thank God for sensible Nigerians.

What facts? The President on tuesday asked that the process be sped up to start implementation and someone is opening a thread to rant about nothing on ground 3days later.
Like someone said sometimes ago, it's not about the frequency but the quality of opposition criticism
The thread was done on Wednesday less than 24 hrs after, like how absurd. I've decided it is best to ignore him, guys like beaf were better at opposition

Lagos is n economic power-zone
Abuja is an administrative power-zone

What does Bori have? Sure there is oil and gas but that's too homogenous. Lagos is a combination of thousands of businesses. Abuja a combination of politics and some business.....

The only way for Bori to be on that level is through massive diversification which I am sorry cannot happen immediately (I am being realistic)
Who labeled Lagos economic power-zone? What stops Bori from becoming the second economic power-zone? The bolded is a silly hogwash. I guess it is true that Rome was not built in day.

The above is arrant nonsense only capable of coming from a deluded Nigerian. Must the development of the any part of the zoo called Nigeria initiated by the elected son of the soil? Where is the essence of the so-called "One-Nigeria"? There must be massive infrastructural projects initiated in Bori , Opobo or Yenagoa in order to transform the cities to the standards seen in Lagos/Ikeja and Abuja. If the transformation is hard to initiate by government at the center, it is natural to allow the communities to manage the resources within their neighborhoods. One goon in Nigeria had suggested that the Daura Dumbass has every right to appoint ministers from his village. By the same token, communities in Nigeria have all the rights to take control of the resources from their communities. It is unfair that Lagos State is solely benefiting from the infrastructural projects erected by the federal government of Nigeria from the resources very alien to Lagos.

1. If only every past administration and especially "your son" has taken one, jst one laudable step like this which u dnt seem to see any good in, maybe, jst maybe, U wl have almost gotten the Dubai you crave for!

2. If only folks like you will dare ask what is bn done wt the funds frm multiple derivations (NDDC, ND Ministry, e.t.c) then maybe, just maybe we wl see a new york skyline in the Niger Delta.

3. If folks like you had come out to shout yourselves hoarse like you are doin now when "your brother" or "your son" was takin an exclusively private venture from Lagos to Bayelsa among many incongruous policy decisions towards the Niger Delta jst to save face, maybe, just maybe, you wl b taken seriously!

Think on these seriously and be guided!

P.S: Mark this words, PMB will surprise the Niger Delta!
